Best costumer service at a restaurant I have been to in a long time. The quality of the food wad five Star. This is a family owned establishment and it was great that the couple took time to talk with ilia and ask were we were from and constantly ask if we needed anything. Our family will most def return and if your driving through STOP and check them out you will not be disappointed they are great! I thought it was awesome that you can upgrade your fries to Asada fries or chili cheese fries with sour cream awesome addition

This is how burgers and fries were back in the day! The milk shakes are real ice cream and definitely the best in town… And I love Mel’s too, but this is better than Mel’s. I recommended this restaurant to anyone that needs a real burger and can’t scratch that itch with a crappy fast food one. Also the onion rings are the best in town.

Fist time here and it is on my cheat day so I’m going ham on this burger. Double meat, BBQ sauce, lettuce mustard and onion rings! I had this big a** burger with garlic fries an led it satisfying. My wife had the spicy buffalo wings with were average, but her sweet potato fries were on point. They had no AC which is really that big of a deal to me so unfortunately I will not be back due the AC. Maybe order to go in the future…

Went there with my kids — very good diner-style cheeseburger, good hot dog, fries good but not great, but surprisingly not too greasy for this style of food. Nice selection of burgers on the menu so I may have to try back again for something different. Nice Shakes made with good ice cream, of which they had about 10 flavors. Friendly and quick service. Owner was really nice to my kids. Décor is ‘50s retro with the same kind of stuff you would see at Mel’s, except more unique and authentic, like an old black and white TV and stove that look like they could’ve come from the owners’ parents’ house. The place is pretty small, and the AC was out or off which made it feel a little stuffy inside. I’m sure they’ve spruced it up from what it was(a fry shop I think) but that whole shopping center really is not aging well.

Amazing!!! I love Johnny’s! We live in the South Bay and trust me it’s worth the drive! Food is served fresh and piping hot! Inside is a throwback to the 50’s/60’s. It’s very clean and open. We’ve tried their burgers and chicken burgers. I can’t say which is better! They are possibly the best burgers out there!

If you are looking for an amazing burger, shake and perfect, crispy, fresh French fries… You MUST stop by this place. The burgers were incredibly delicious and had the freshest ingredients, really high quality angus beef and were made to order fresh. The buns were crispy and buttery– incredibly delicious! The fries come with the burgers and are everything you want in a fry… Hot, crispy, salty & melt-in-your-mouth yummy. I haven’t had a better fry in my life. And the best part??? The pricing is super reasonable and the service is spot-on. The counter guy is the owner and super personable and obviously knows good cooking and customer service. Do yourself a favor and swing by this hidden gem for a burger, fries and don’t forget the strawberry shake!

The food is AMAZING the people who work there are AWESOME and I personally love the 50s theme and music. The food is perfect diner food and they have a chocolate cake that will satisfy most choc-a-holics. My board game group meets there every Saturday and the owner and employees are gracious, kind and a lot of fun. LOVE this place.

Hey everyone! Johnny’s moved to Tracy Blvd next to In Shape Fit!(How«fitting» !! Heehee) I know, super cheesy, but not as cheesy as the asada fries okay, I’ll stop now and won’t quit my day job. Just wanted to make sure people know Johnny is still around for that unbeatable bacon cheeseburger and milkshake The BEST bacon cheeseburger around! The burger is juicy and seasoned just right. Lettuce, tomato and onion are fresh. The bun… you just have to try it splurge on a side of asada fries and pick out a vintage soda from the fridge. Oh yeah… and save room for dessert! The menu boasts many options from a classic burger to a Philly cheesesteak. Great diner food and a place you keep going back to.

Great food. Carne asada fries are a favorite. I’m a fan of the Phillie cheese steak. I’m pretty picky so when I called in an order and asked how long and was told 10 minutes-at 25th minute I was frustrated.

This is the best burger joint in Tracy. Their milkshakes are made of real ice cream. Fries are crispy:) I’ve also tried their chicken burger and it was great. There’s plenty of parking. It has an old school theme, which is different. It’s not unusual to see the owner and his wife grilling the burgers
