Dr. Nguyen is amazing! He listened to my problem and went to work right away. I called 5 different ob gyns to get me in asap because I was having sharp pains and I have a history of ovarian torsion. They got me in within 3 days. I told him what I wanted done and he did it! I had to have two surgeries within 6 weeks and I felt like the whole hospital was on my side! They don’t make you wait a long time and the visits are short and sweet. I found out later he was the dr that delivered my niece! My sister and I highly recommend him and the staff at sutter gould hospital.

Dr. Nam Nguyen is the best obgyn I’ve ever been to. I’ve had such bad luck with previous doctors and I’m glad to finally found one I’m actually comfortable with. He delivered my first baby and now I’m on my next. Last time I switched doctors mid pregnancy and was worried about it till I realized it was a blessing in disguise. She once made me put my legs in the stirrups and left me with my legs spread for a good five minutes before actually checking me. She couldn’t find the tools, it was like shouldn’t you have had that together before. Dr. Nguyen does examines fast and painless. No keeping you uncomfortable for too long. Would highly recommend him. Not scared of pap smears anymore.

Only gets one star for the amazing nursing staff. Stay away from Dr Thorne! I created a Unilocal account just to write this review. She is dreadful, doesn’t explain procedures she just does them. You can’t understand her with the thick Russian accent. The staff has personally called me and apparently there are many complaints against her in the office where they are going to the board to report her. The new OB I’m seeing is seeing patients that have left her office as well because they have also received horrible care from her. I wish I would have never seen her because she put me through so much pain and had zero remorse for what she did. When I called to get pain meds for what she did she hung up on me mid sentence. BEWARE Dr Thorne!!!
