Their Matcha Tea is the best. I ordered the tin can and lol it was very small. pics on website makes it look a lot bigger. Overall I am happy because their Organic Matcha is radiation free and free of heavy metals. Outstanding business!

Great alternative to all of the wine and beer tasting in town. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and so happy to educate you about their product. The tea is simply delicious, I purchased the «Peaceful Peninsula» tea and I am still enjoying it every day. They have a little tea bar where you can try one of a few iced teas, any of their hot teas, or their signature cold matcha tea, which is delicious. Absolutely worth adding a visit here to your Traverse City rotation!

The best ever! The farm is breathtaking and full of amazing energy. I can’t drive by without stopping for a Matcha shot or just to soak in the positivity! The staff is so knowledgable and helpful. I learn something new every time.

Tea-​riffic!
Discovered this place via a well placed brochure in Tandem Ciders. I was on a vacation with my mom and thought this might be up her alley to check out (mine too of course, but I knew she would love something like this). So we zipped over on a Sunday afternoon.
I wasn’t sure what I was expecting but in a way it wasn’t this. And I don’t mean that in a bad way. I guess since I heard «tea farm» I imagined acres of tea trees with leaves as far as the eye can see. That wasn’t really the case. The land is beautiful tho! Lots of little pockets of well manicured gardens (filled with flowers and herbs I would find later are also incorporated into the teas), some serene garden seating, and more than a few beehives that got the bee lover in me really excited (you can even buy the honey produced on site). I later came to discover that the tea trees are actually hiding in the big greenhouse on site. However if you want to see a tree just ask and they’ll let you peek your head in to check it out.
As for tea buying and tasting there is a small house that is filled to the brim with tins filled with teas – white, green, black and herbals (not really traditional teas but lovely mixtures of flowers, fruits herbs and more). They have 6 pre-​brewed teas and you get a complimentary sample of one of them when you walk in. Want to taste all of them? It’s $ 6. I wasn’t terribly enamored with a few of them (one was licorice, a flavor of which I am very anti) but I was curious about a couple and she let me try without forking over the big bucks. You can also get a whole cup for a price point as well, I just don’t remember that amount. The gal working the tea room was VERY nice and took a lot of time explaining their process, ingredients and info about the farm itself. In addition to the teas they also sell cups, pots, and other brewing pariphenalia.
The tea flavors are vast and impressive. They don’t have all of them to try but they do have all of them to sniff and they are tantalizing. They are definitely on the pricier side but the tins are huge and go a long way (a teaspoon for a cup = many many cups from just one tin). My mom and I decided to pitch in on a couple of tins and split them in half later which allowed us to take home a few without it being quite as expensive. Also, the teas are all organic and 60% of the ingredients are grown there which, I believe, adds to the price point since they do all the preparing and packaging on site.
We picked up two types – Sunday Morning (which we were able to sample in store) a fair trade black tea with Madagascar bourbon vanilla and chrysanthemum flowers. Light, sweet and fruity, and All Heart a green tea with pink rosebuds and Montmorency cherries. We weren’t able to taste it but the smell was divine. We brewed it for the first time at home tonight and what a tea! Light, flowery, with a bit of tart/​sweet cherry note to it. My new favorite tea!
Would I be splurging on this tea regularly? Probably not. But on vacation a tin or so to take home and enjoy? Absolutely.

This is a very small organic farm that is on the way to Sleeping Bear Dunes. There is quite a selection of tea, they have sample tins of each to smell. The tea is quite expensive, the average price is about $ 25 for 3 oz.
I stopped not too long ago and the owner and the shop girl seemed very nice for the brief time that I spoke to them. I just didn’t love my experience.
For the most part everything went well except that I had a tinge of feeling like I was intentionally mislead into thinking I was getting a free sample, when really it was something that cost money (didn’t find that out until I was checking out). I hate it when it feels like I’ve been nickel and dimed, especially when I’m paying top dollar for a product.
I would shop here again because it’s local and has quality products and I most likely just got caught on an off day.

I read about her in a local publication and was intrigued by her discovery of how to use teas medicinally. So I stopped in and the staff is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. didn’t oversell me… they pointed me to the products that would be most helpful. It will take me a while to determine if the tea will help me, but I like tea and so will enjoy the journey.

A tea fiend’s dream. You can smell all the tea, it is amazing. A small room, they had two samples out when we were there a rooibus and a black or green tea. The tea is expensive, but it is all super-​duper earth friendly, fair trade, and organic. The teas are available in two different size tin cannisters, and there are regular and premium lines of tea. Standouts for me include, raspberry green, peaceful peninsulas-​another green tea, and the creamy earl grey (soooooo good). There are tea accessories for sale also. There are also tea cuppings, educational classes, all sorts of things going on out here.

Amazing tea created by amazing people. Definitely worth a stop if you have a passion for great tea.
