H&R Block

Never have I been audited before, not until I allowed this place H&R block to do my taxes. I have done my own taxes and never had any issues and I’m beyond pissed off with the company right now. I left rave reviews because if how fast they did my taxes and now I see why, because they F’d them up… go to a real CPA, never come to this company!

I can’t find anywhere to process a complaint on H & R Block’s corporate site, so I am placing it here. We had a HORRIBLE experience at this office. Our «tax professional» (and I use that word VERY lightly) was called «Dominica» or something along those lines. Our first impression of her was instantly negative because she took a look at one of our forms and said «I guess I’ll try to do this». Umm what? She stumbled over all the forms that we gave her, complaining that she «had not learned this yet». Excuse me but could you please give us someone who HAS learned the material so they don’t screw our taxes up?! It’s not too much to ask I wouldn’t think. She was very unprofessional… We had a problem with the forms telling us we had children (no doubt something she had input incorrectly) and she kept yelling to the other associates «It keeps sayin’ they got kids. But they ain’t got no kids!» LOL. All we could do was laugh at that point. She even asked us how to spell our state name. First, it’s right in front of your face. Second, did you even graduate high school? One of the other ladies, Zoula, walked over to help with something she was screwing up. Once Zoula walked off Dominica started bad mouthing her. Sorry but that is a big no in front of any type of customer in ANY business, especially one that is supposedly «professional». After a delightful TWO HOURS in H&R Block, and help from every employee in the office, we were able to get our taxes completed. Thanks to JUDY for helping this incompetent associate finish our forms. They apologized saying our situation was a «learning case» for them. I wish they would have offered a discount or anything really to make up for our loss of time and frustrations. At least other people will potentially read this and avoid going to this awful location.
