History
Established in 1994.
The Trenton Thunder originated as the Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers in 1994 after moving from London, Ontario. In 1995, the Thunder became part of the Boston Red Sox organization, an affiliation that lasted through the 2002 season. In 2003, the Thunder began their current affiliation with the historic New York Yankees. The past 21 years have seen a myriad of legendary figures grace the field in Trenton, New Jersey with their presence including Tony Clark, Nomar Garciaparra, David Eckstein, Andy Pettitte, Bernie Williams, Roger Clemens, and Derek Jeter have all worn Thunder jerseys. Even though the players and affiliations have changed throughout the years, one thing has remained constant: the Trenton Thunder, and ARM & HAMMER Park, provides the Mercer/Bucks region with the most affordable and entertaining fun in the area.
