Very Unprofessional– Bad Business! First Zak canceled on us an hour after he was supposed to show up. The following weekend again, plans with friends got ruined! I called after 30 min when he was a no show, said he’ll be there in an hour, hour passed no show. He promised next weekend and did show up. They were called to perform a Tune-​up, and to fix an exhaust issue. 3 Hours pass, and they finally finish. I check the gasket set and he only used 1 piece out of the 3, when asked, he said «we only changed the top» WTF does that mean? He then threw me off and I forgot about it because he started talking about the exhaust, the entire time I thought he did the exhaust!!! Nope!!! Zak said, «I didn’t bring the tool.» Knowing he’s coming to perform a job and didn’t bring his tools? I paid the ENTIRE BILL and HE NEVER CAME BACK TO FINISH THE JOB. He promised to show up Thursday evening, then Friday evening, then Sunday and of course was a no show. When I asked Sarah whats going on, she said he was repairing someone vehicle and couldn’t get it to start! Since Thursday!!! WOW that’s when I said to myself, I am NOT having this guy touch my car! Lost Money on this Deal… I got my car done at a professional business, and they told me I needed an oil change? WTF??? only thing he did with the tune up was change the Spark Plugs!!! And ran away! Terrible! BAD BUSINESS — Extremely Unprofessional

These guys showed up at my house (the backyard really) and replaced rear brake pads and rotors. I had picked up the parts myself, and Zak and Phil realized pretty quickly they were the wrong parts. THEY went back to the Auto Parts store, as I am disabled, exchanged them out, paid for them (I reimbursed them after job was done) and installed, for the exact same amount I was quoted — They were both great, efficient, personable, and very informative. But because of my screw up, the job took about 2 hours, and they still only charged me what they originally had quoted. Getting ready to e — mail them now, as I don’t want to go to anyone else — the convenience is great !!!

Don’t take my inventory big daddy!

I have called 5 times per day for 3 full days now (within their hours of operation), left messages, as well as emailed, and I have yet to hear back from anyone. I want to give this place a shot, but should’t have to work this hard to give someone my business. To top it off I purchased the Unilocal deal, so now I’m going to have to fight with them to get a refund unless I hear from someone soon.

Zach was fantastic. He came to me at my house. he was efficient, courteous, and very flexible with his time. I had my brake pads and oil changed. He made sure I was happy with my brakes before he left and cleaned the area well. This is the best deal around, no question and you are helping a local business.

I’m really not one for posting reviews, but I have to tell someone about phenomenal experience I had with Zak at Back On The Road For Less.
My 1998 Corolla was in pretty nasty shape; bad motor mounts, power steering issues, loose brakes, etc. Zak showed up at my house, found the main issues, and gave me a quote that was WAY lower than I would have paid at any dealership or local body shop. Not only did he give me a full report on the car, but he actually showed me what was malfunctioning and priced out each part in front of me. I’m not a car guy, so it was really nice to have someone walk me through the process. I’ve never had anyone give me so much insight on my vehicle.
They are prompt with service, have the lowest rates around, AND come right to your front door (or office, road stop, shopping mall). I’m totally keeping his car in my dashboard and have already passed a few around to my friends and family.
