Insensitive and rude!!! We brought our beloved Prince to be cremated and SPECIFICALLY asked for his bed back. When we went to pick him up the following day a bed that was not his was handed to me. I said it wasn’t ours and the young lady said she’d have to ask the gentleman that handles the cremations. Four days later and all we’ve been told is that it was discarded and no one will clarify what that means. Then to make things worse we were offered «any urn engraved and free of charge.» THE NERVE!!! How cold hearted to think something monetary will replace something of such sentimental value to our family. In such a serious business I would think they would be more sensitive and considerate. I am utterly disgusted and would not recommend this place to anyone. If they could not do something as simple as return a bed or be honest and say what happened, how can you trust that you’re actually receiving YOUR pet back? DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE

I wanted to thank you for taking care of our 10 year old dog Miss Little Millie. It was a very heartbreaking time for us and your helping us put her to rest in such a tasteful fashion made it easier for us. The thoughtful prayer card was beautiful and very reassuring. The wooden box was done with class and not tacky at all with the nice metal name plate engraved on the top. I would recommend you to anybody I know that owns pets, not to mention you are half the price of any other pet cremation places! Thanks again.

I cannot thank u guys more for treating me and boyfriends beloved Lucy with such respect and dignity. I just went to pick up her ashes and honestly i was beyond taken back by how beautiful everything was. Thank you so much and i recommend if u have to put your pet to rest, go with Pet Meadows. I can not express my gratitude. The people at Hamilton are amazing. I have used their services for two pets that passed and they go above and beyond. I can not say enough good things about them. Everything was beautiful and they are so caring and courteous– when you are there, on the phone, or through email. Not one time were they anything but wonderful. I hope that you don’t need their services but if you do I highly recommend them. I will never go anywhere else. I drive an hour each way to get there and it is well worth the drive I promise. –Alexia B.

Today I laid my beloved Pet to rest. The staff was very kind and compassionate. They provided the same respect that I treated my pet with. They set up a room for private viewing and displayed my pet beautifully. I had him cremated and was allowed to view the process, he was handled with great care when he was transported. Viewing the process provided me with closure in knowing that in fact it was my pet and I would be getting his remains back. Overall I highly recommend this place for anyone who has lost a pet and would like to perform a formal burial or cremation.

The staff is great. I’ve been very happy with the services. They are so caring and respectful of what we are going through when we need their services. Unfortunately, over the last 5 years we have had 3 pets pass away. 1 was the day after Hurricane Sandy. It was difficult enough dealing with all we were at the time. Losing a pet, no power, heat, water, etc… It was in the evening when they were closed and they even offered to pick him up from our home. Someone was kind enough to meet us there. I highly recommend them!

Last year we had to put down our 4.5 yr old Chocolate Lab, Bear… He had an enlarged heart… We were told that we could have a viewing prior to the Cremation, this was something new to us. We made the arrangement and were pleasantly surprised when we were brought into the viewing room where Bear was laying on a table in front of the room with his head on his paws like he was resting… We had a 45 min visit with him prior to the cremation… This was a very special and something we will take advantage of with all our pets…

My experience with Hamilton Pet Meadow was very disappointing. At this difficult time, there was little to no communication provided to me regarding the status and handling of my poor dog. I was told, upon making the cremation request, that I would receive a phone confirmation when my dog was picked up from the veterinary hospital. I waited 48 hours, then had to call to confirm that she had been picked up. I was told that she was awaiting cremation, and that they hadn’t processed her yet because they weren’t sure if we wanted to be present to view the cremation. Upon advising that I would be unable to attend, I was told I would receive a phone call once she was ready to be picked up. 3 days later I had to call to find out what was going on. This is unacceptable handling for someone grieving the loss of a pet. When I told Debra, the director, how disappointed I was in the communication and organization that I have experienced, I received no apology whatsoever. I was told that they were short staffed and just to go pick up the ashes. From a business that deals in grief I found the conversation seriously lacking compassion and business professionalism. I absolutely would not recommend this business to anyone looking to handle the final decisions regarding their pet’s life.
