5 stars because they gave me fair money for my trade and sold me the car I wanted for a good deal. They gave me fair financing terms. I am happy with my experience here. Ask for Henri, salesman, and Matt, finance person. Make sure to do your research and know what you want before coming here. Browse around, look at prices on the internet and test drive several times the car you want so you know how it should work. If you happen to find it here, look it over, test drive it at least twice, and be comfortable with the car and the deal. Some people swear to never come to second hand (off-​brand) car dealerships. I disagree. I had my favorite car buying experience here and I’ve purchased 3 or 4 Toyotas at Toyota dealerships. This place specializes in high end European makes, so you have a chance at getting a Japanese brand at a good deal. Don’t be afraid to give this place a shot. Just don’t get taken for a ride. I was ripped off much worse at a Toyota dealership, so the stories about mom and pop’s dealerships aren’t exactly true. The real difference could be that a Toyota dealer sells cars with a warranty and this place sells as is, with a potential warranty you can buy during financing. I opted for the 3 year warranty, and felt the expense was worth it for the peace of mind it offers. The 3 month warranty that a Toyota dealer gives is extremely limited and if you do have to use it, chances are your car needs more work than the warranty covers. So when buying a car, only think about numbers if you are 1000% comfortable with the car you are getting. Have a reputable mechanic look it over. That usually costs 50 – 100 bucks and its an expensive you are incurring on a car that isn’t yours, but its a potentially worthwhile investment if you are serious about the car. 100 bucks spent now may help you avoid thousands in potential repairs down the line if you discover the car you got here isn’t what you expected. Remember, no warranties on their cars. Having said that, if you do your homework, you have a good chance of buying a good used car here. In conclusion, don’t believe the hype about used cars and mom and pop’s dealerships. One person’s bad experience doesn’t reflect on anything but that one person. You have to let yourself get taken advantage of for it to happen. Thanks for reading.

I recently purchased my first car from this place. I had my mind on a Honda Toyota or Nissan, just for reliability but the locations had more or so luxury cars. My bf’s dad is good friends w the guy who sold me the car so it was okay. He ended up selling me on a volkswagon which my bf said he really enjoyed driving during his time in Germany. I sat inside a Jetta, CC, but there was a Passat that was listed as sold hat really caught my eye. It was a 2008 VW passat. The only thing it was missing was a nav system. It was in great condition with only 56 000 miles on jt. With the reliability of German cars I felt confident making the purchase, even though I felt they should of came down on the price sine Kelly Blue Book had it listed lower.
I was able to get it financed through the dealership with WellsFargo even though my credit history was young, and I didn’t need a co signer. They also convinced me to purchase a warranty with the car where if anything was to happen the warranty would cover the car w 100 dollars to cover everything, parts & labor. The financing guy was also really patient while I figured out my insurance over the phone which took an additional twenty minutes or so.
It was a three day or so process between finding the car and getting the financing complete and let me just say that I do indeed love my car. In the future all I will be able to do is purchase VW I’m sure.

I was looking for a particular car, J&S had what I wanted for a fair price. I spoke with ‘Eli’ who did not mention to me that there were different locations, though I should of done more research I wasted my time twice looking for the correct one with the car I wanted. I must say over the phone Eli was not professional. In person, he was very compromising and professional. So as I waited for finance to do their part, I was told that my credit score was under 500… I thought to myself is my credit really that bad… So they try to sell me a 2012 Car (can I add that this model car have many recalls on it) that was more so in my price range for $ 500 a month for 72 months??! You have to be out your mind! And my trade in was not worth anything. So that being said, i just received my credit report through one of many banks that work with J&S… they are full shit sh*t!!! And may I add a week after visiting with J&S I walked out of a toyota dealership with a brand new 2015. My father always told me to never shop at a mom and pop dealer or even for a used car! I would never recommend J&S to anyone or value your trade in through them. Yes! They may have luxury cars for reasonable prices, but so does the actual dealership. do not waste your time on used vehicles!

I purchased my Infiniti G37 from Sal. He helped me out on the pricing. He was very patient and was able to quickly recognize my needs. Definitely would come back again for my next purchase. I noticed their inventory to be very clean! 5 stars to the max

I just purchased my third vehicle from J&S. When it comes to buying a pre owned vehicle this should be everyone’s first and last stop! I just picked up a fully loaded Honda Accord and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I was taken care of by Salim and Eli. They were able to take in my trade and keep my payment the same while lowering my APR %. Great service and great dealership.

Yahhhhh! I purchased a 2010 Audi Q5 from Harry at J&S AutoHaus in August of 2014, he was so friendly and easy to deal with. I have driven over 8,000 miles in the car since the purchase 3 months ago and I haven’t had one issue with my SUV.
This was my first time purchasing a used automobile, and to be honest I was terrified. I am so happy it really worked out for me.
I previously owned Honda, Infiniti, Mercedes, and BMW. Audi is more reliable than any of my previous cars!

I am updating this, as their lack of customer service on this issue forced me to take legal action. We settled out of court after the sell sheet from the auction house was produced, showing that they were indeed aware that the vehicle had damage before they purchased it and passed it on to me. Again, be very careful in your dealings with these folks. I can’t imagine that my experience was an isolated incident.

they offer mostly imported cars, just about any make or model you would want, they do their own service and i have seen 1^st hand that they do whatever is needed to a car they buy before offering to a customer, they use 1stquality parts and should a problem arise they are prompt in repairing it and insure yor happy before you leave.

I love this place. I came here a few months back when I first decided that I would need a new car. I wish I had remembered the salesmans name because he was great — he really knew his stuff and described in detail all of my financing options, and offered a pretty competitive deal. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

From what i hear from people who purchased cars from J&S and the problems they had with the cars and had to go to OTHER places to get them fixed, or the «fast talking», slickster type sales men i met when i was there AND the argument i witnessed when a new customer was trying to return a new car for service & the sales man was giving the woman a hard time, i would NOT shop here or recommend ANYONE here. Period.

I went to J&S AutoHaus about 2 years ago. I found a very reasonably priced Audi A4 online and decided to check it out. I called in advanced to see if the car was still available and about when I was planning to check it out. When I arrived the whole lot is more or less luxury cars and the Audi I called about was pulled up to the main building already for me to see.
It was a used car, but it felt new. It was raining so I couldn’t see all the details of the outside, but the inside was absolutely spotless. They also had all the CarFax/​history of the car. I definitely felt like they do take extra care of the cars and their customers.
After the test-​drive, it was down to business. I think we were the only people in the place cause it was early afternoon on a weekday and it was pouring out, so a bunch of the staff came over to just talk about the car, warranties and of course money. They were pretty blunt and kind of rude, but somehow they felt friendly and very eager to meet all my needs. I’m not sure how that works and I’m still trying to figure out how that makes sense, but that’s how I would describe them. At the end of the day they were very business oriented but weren’t as pushy as other car salesmen I’ve interacted with and were very helpful and informative. I was there less than an hour before I was signing paper and driving out with a new used car.
Overall, I felt like I got a great deal with good service.

I’m the type that’s consistently on the fence about buying a new car. Well, new to me. I’m also an wannabe aficionado of luxury cars. And if luxury cars are what you’re into — then J & S is certainly the place to go. They offer pretty much every major luxury import make, particularly German cars — most notably: Audi.
I went in to trade my 1999 A4 for a 2006 that I had spotted online. I called that morning and was greeted by their Internet Sales Manager who made it known that I’d be able to stop in.
Honestly, I was pretty impressed with the place. We all know the stigmas associated with used car sales (and coupled with its location just outside the city of Trenton didn’t make me entirely hopeful) and speaking with past experience as a car salesmen, they are truly a breed known to be pretty snakey. All in all, maybe my experience was treated differently when I had made mention of my previous life as a car salesman, but I was treated quite fairly at J & S.
Upon negotiating for my trade, the sale price of the vehicle and my financing terms — I felt everything was handled efficiently, appropriately and honestly.
I came to the dealership with some troubles regarding insurance and my salesman and finance specialist were both very patient, though like any good car dealership — I know they were probably just looking forward to getting me out of the door with my new car.
The one thing I have to say I’m a little disappointed with, my car wipers broke a few days later in a terrible snowstorm. The motor had to be replaced — though, this was not a problem, it was still under factory warranty. I made a return trip to J & S to retrieve some items that I’d left in my trade and made mention of the wipers that I knew were malfunctioning and was more or less whisked away, but honestly this a few days after I’d closed my purchase with them and they were honestly under no obligation to me. I however would have appreciated it, had they gone that extra length to satisfy a customer.
In summation: If you’re looking for a luxury make and enjoy doing your browsing online before making the trek — see J & S’ selection online, they have pretty much their entire inventory on
. Most of their vehicles are recent models most likely still under factory warranty — and of course they offer an extended warranty with your purchase.
I’d gladly return there when it’s time to get into a newer car.
