Lawrence Sub Shop

This review is from the standpoint of the vegetarian.
If you’re looking for generous, good quality meat this might be a good place for you. But my sandwich didn’t cut it.
Here are the veggie options: lettuce, tomato, onions, peppers. No olives, cucumber or anything else you’d see at a good sub shop like the nearby Just Subs.
The worst part was that I asked for vinegar and the bag was soaked through when I got home. The paper the sandwich was wrapped in was saturated as was the bag. The end inch of one of the subs was just a soggy mess.
It’s not all bad news though – the bread is incredible and they gave me a generous portion of provolone. The woman at the counter was nice even though she said very few words to me. They also have a lunch deal for around $ 7 which seems pretty reasonably priced.

This is the best hoagie/​sub shop in town. Excellent quality meats and cheeses on fresh bread with equally fresh toppings makes this a dieter’s worst nightmare. The «half» sub is 10 inches and is truly enough for 2 people. These sandwiches are top notch, and it is a small family-​owned business. I highly recommend it.

Lawrence Sub Shop fills their sandwiches with hopes and dreams. When you take a bite of one of their perfectly made subs, make sure you’re sitting down! If you aren’t properly prepared and take safety precautions, you may experience what I like to call a «Tasty Blackout.»
A Tasty Blackout happens when you start eating something so good, so marvelously delicious, that you sort of forget about reality and are transported to world filled exclusively with flavor and yumminess. When you’ve finished your last bite you’ll look up, come back to reality, and have no idea what you’ve been doing for the last couple minutes while you were greedily chowing down on your meal. A Tasty Blackout is a good thing. Embrace it.
Now it’s more or less a known fact that Lawrence Sub Shop uses only top quality stuff, which is probably why you’ll feel like Neo from the Matrix after you’ve tasted you’re first bite. You may even gain his powers, who knows? What I do know is that these subs should be featured in the Louvre because they’re freakin artwork.
*** Eat one of their subs, gain superpowers, expend superpowers eating more subs, repeat.

Stopped here twice in last few weeks. Had a BLT on rye first time which was very good. Had an italian 10inch combo second time which was a great sandwich but too it for me! Great well kept shop.

Best subs in town filled with generous amounts of meats and cheeses!
