Revive Salon & Spa

If I could give less than a star I would. Recently relocated to this area and needed a cut and change in color in a big way. My hair had damage from sun, over processing and general summer activities that can cause hair to become less than healthy. I made an appt here after reading reviews. That will be the last appt at this place ever, I will NEVER step foot in this shopping plaza establishment again. The appt began with the photo I showed expressing what I would like to aim for going from very very blond hair to this much more appropriate darker and warmer fall look. I don’t have the composure to go back to Revive and demand a refund because I’m SO upset and only leaving the house today to go elsewhere and hopefully have someone salvage the horrible job Lauren did to me. I should have known that I was in for a huge letdown when Lauren dramatically pulled my hair back, chopped it off and threw it on the floor. In addition to my warranted disappointment, while I was in this nightmare, a client physically walked in and had to have her credit card refunded because Lauren charged her TWICE and the client just noticed it. Consider yourself warned. Don’t risk it. There is a terrible line of whatever was done in the front of my face, maybe a poor highlight or poor attempt to cover a previous highlight. I can’t be sure. No one she have to accept this. I’m in total disbelief and disgusted. I pray the new salon I’m heading to now will have skilled professionals that would never allow someone to walkout looking the way Revive salon let me leave. After TWO HOURS. If I could only post the pictures. Awful.
Update: it’s been 24 days since I have had the WORST hair salon experience I can remember. This is literally the worst hair cut I have ever had in my life. And I’m not a spring chicken. This is awful. Contemplating wigs or extensions. It is that bad. Even as it grows out, it is completely unflattering and I cannot do a thing with it to make it any better. The over texturizing and scissor happy cut has made it nearly impossible to even pull it back. It is depressing to say the least. My 5yr old daughter has even remarked how «they should say sorry». Very disheartening.

Run away, and I genuinely mean that. I had followed a stylist here when she switched from another nearby salon to this one, and I noticed that as soon as she switched facilities, her work standards went down drastically. And I don’t mean her skill set or anything — I mean things like REUSING DIRTY COMBS, RAZORS, CLIPPERS AND SCISSORS ON MULTIPLE CLIENTS, with bits of hair and other gross things all over them. None of the other stylists seemed even remotely concerned by this, and I even saw some of them acting similarly; does no one there know how ringworm or hepatitis are spread?
I personally won’t go back, because as skilled as a stylist as she was, she doesn’t deserve her license if she doesn’t know how to keep her clients safe from potential disease.

Best salon ever. Great environment and service. I get so many compliments on my hair! I drive all the way from Canton just to come here. Great job ladies!
