History

Established in 1950.

Trenton Photographers, a three generation studio, was started by John Mayer and continues to be run today by his son Jay Mayer. Jay’s daughter Melissa Mayer designed our website and also takes wedding and engagement photos.

I’ve been in the business since I graduated from Ewing High School in 1973. My father started the business in 1950. I have especially enjoyed doing second generation weddings of couples that I’ve done their parents weddings. When I took the parents wedding, on film, I may have taken 200 photos for the day. Now for their kids, I am taking over 1,000 digital images!
