An iconic lighthouse on the northern California coast located in Humboldt County in the heart of the redwoods. I lucked out and came on a day that was pure perfection — blue skies, perfect temperatures, never-ending views of sea stacks and the gorgeous Pacific Ocean. Really, a drool-worthy view. Love the benches to allow you to rest for a minute to let the view sink in.

A nice, little lighthouse memorial park. Not much to say other than been there, done that.

Awesome lookout point of the harbor and trinidad bay. From that point, one can see seabirds, seals and even whales at times. There’s a cool memorial and several placards plus a huge bell sharing the past history and celebrating the many seaman that served in the area. This is also one of the trailheads to Indian Beach.
