Greetings from all of us at A Shot in the Dark Espresso Bar. Formally Coffee’s On, A shot in the Dark is now Barista owned and operated. We have been brewing the best espresso in the Northwest for over 15 years. We pride ourselves on our quality and attention to detail. Come in and meet our friendly baristas. As always, we proudly serve Longbottom coffee.

Great little find right near Imagination Station in Troutdale. Perfect for a stop after playing at the park. One of the few places in east county for bubble tea too. Friendly staff and good for kids.

Friendly staff, delicious drinks, and a warm atmosphere. Their bubble tea is delicious and they have a good selection of syrup flavors for hot and cold drinks. The lines are never terribly long either.

Close enough to my high school that I can come and grab some coffee and a bagel for lunch :) they are always so nice, and don’t mind if I loiter on finals week to escape the craziness that is the commons at my school. Their coffee is always great.
Also, a wonderful place for a date. This was my boyfriend and I’s first date :3

This is the friendliest and most comfortable place in Troutdale to get your coffee fix. The staff is friendly. They make great recommendations if you want to try something different. The store has a living room feel, and the fireplace adds a nice touch.
They often have Facebook drink specials, which is an extra bonus. Mondays you get double punches on your buy 12 get a free drink card. Very nice!

Every small town should be blessed with a friendly neighborhood espresso bar like we are with A Shot in the Dark. It’s the grooviest little coffee place for miles around. The owners and employees are friendly, courteous and helpful. They don’t mind one bit if you relax in one of their comfy chairs and read the paper, work on your laptop or read a book. Five Stars PLUS!

The staff here is always very friendly and the coffee is great! I love going to coffee places where I can get a good strong espresso without having to add shots to it. Their 24 ounce snickers mocha comes with 4 shots of espresso unlike other places that come with 2 or 3. It is an amazing drink and at just under $ 5 is a great value compared to the $ 6 or $ 7 this would cost elsewhere. To top it off, they have a huge selection of specialty drinks to choose from as well! That being said I look forward to trying new drinks here and I will definitely be returning.
