What a friendly store! A few weeks ago, we were looking for some suitable end/stereo tables in a mid-century modern style. Everything on craigslist was way overpriced for ‘scratched,’ or ‘chipped’ tables. Low and behold! An identical table(another individual was selling on Craigslist) was on display for under half the cost… plus they went to the basement and retrieved a TOTALLY unique(I’ve never seen one like it!), matching circular side table which sat elevated and attached to a square base. Both units had unique brass handled, basket woven drawers. We now enjoy both those pieces in our living, and purchased for $ 100 total! WEWILLBEBACK!

A lovely selection of antiques. Very good prices. Sad to hear that they will be closing August 1. If I lived closer I would’ve bought more stuff but had to travel on a plane.

Went on a Saturday drive this past weekend up to Troutdale with my husband and daughter. We stopped by the Troutdale antique mall to check it out, look around and maybe find something interesting. Upon entering we were immediately put off by the staffs attitude, they were very unfriendly complete with eye rolling. I found some buttons that were unique looking, they were 2.50. Not 30 seconds after picking them up a man grabbed them out of my hand and said if I wanted them they’d be at the register. From that moment on I was extremely uncomfortable. I got the distinct feeling they thought I was going to steal something. We looked around a bit more then decided to leave we were both pretty uncomfortable with the atmosphere in the store. We went to the register and asked to pay for the buttons, I no longer wanted to even try purchasing anything else. We were told at the register there was a 5.00 minimum for debit. I wanted out of the store and said never-mind there was nothing else I wanted to purchase, it wasn’t worth being in the store any longer and we did not have cash. The clerk then replied«oh too expensive huh?» I was pretty furious, re explained that we did not have cash and got out. I realize I should have planned better with cash but stopping here was not the plan for the day. I have never received such poor and awkward service before.

I shop this mall often and have for several several years now! I have found some fantastic buys however a lot of the stuff in the basement is junkie stuff and I wish these dealers would restock their booths more often with different things. Often I go and find the same stuff as previously visited!

Neat place, but the staff acted as if I were trying to rob them. I was quite literally chased to the basement floor by one of the employees, who practically interrogated me and asked me what I needed. I get that a lot of young guys don’t come into antique stores, but good god– I like them! And I like to browse. I’m not a thief! Other than that, this is a fun place to peruse, and many of the vendors have reasonable deals on their items. Apparently if you’re under 30 though, many of the staff will assume you’re there to steal from them, which is kind of off-putting for younger people who are genuinely interested in antiques.

I love this antique mall! Whenever I’m in the Portland area I make sure I stop by this place. It’s on a little old time-y feeling main street in Troutdale which adds to the fun of antique shopping. Every time I’ve come here I’ve scored some sort of gem. Check it out.

Love it. Take all my family and friends here… people are sooo nice, deals to be found all around. Some of the stuff is pricey, but each dealer is different and I have found some GREAT buys here!!!
