We have been providing electrical services for some of the most prestigious custom homes since 1997. We offer a wide range of electrical services including wiring of New Residential Homes, Commercial Buildings, Exterior Landscape and Accent Lighting, Extensive Remodeling, Generator Installation, and Architectural Lighting Design and Placement.

Business Owner

A native of Mecklenburg County, Matthew Gibson has been active in the electrical industry since 1997. Matthew’s family has extensive experience as electricians, carpenters and land developers. This has afforded him a unique view of all aspects of the construction industry. As owner of Gibson Electrical & Lighting, Matthew has wired and remodeled some of the most exclusive homes in Charlotte and the Lake Norman area. He has over ten years of business ownership and management experience.

Matthew holds a Limited Electrical Contracting License with the State of North Carolina and is OSHA-​10 certified. He has ten years experience as an EMT-​D.
