Bianchi’s of Troy

Set up an appointment. Came on time. Clueless receptionist says someone will be with me soon. 15 mins go by. 20 minutes. 30 minutes. 45 minutes past my appointment time. Go back to clueless receptionist to voice my concerns. Interrupted by another clueless member of staff who states my appointment is at a different time. That’s funny. Do you even know my name? Nope. Make way for entrance of third member of staff. No, my name is not Rebecca. And yeah, you can keep your apologies. (Where were all of you when I was sitting there for 45 minutes?)
Get your sh** together people. Was a first time experience here for me. Will never be back again.

Jane is my woman! I call her the hair wizard, she transforms with the twist of her wrist and makes magic happen, I’m not kidding. I’ve seen her about three times now and I adore this woman, she is gentle, kind, sincere and so open and caring with me. I have specific hair requirements and she treats me like anyone else, I always feel totally taken care of, loved and treated with the upmost respect. I leave the salon in tears of joy, it really is an amazing experience. No matter what you need, ASK FOR JANE. You will not regret it. It’s like being in the hands of a very stylish angel. I just adore her and I will not ever go to anyone else.

Such a disappointment for considering themselves a high end salon. I went to do a cut and color. Let me just say the hairdresser didnt even listen to what i wanted. She never understood what i wanted. Made fun of how bad my hair was with almost everyone in the salon. I cant even explain how uncomfortable and embarrassed i felt. My hair turned out to be horrible. All my friends and family were so shocked of how bad my hair looked. I had a line across my head and some patches that didnt even get colored. So i called to get them redone. When i went back she was even more rude to me. Redid my hair really fast and after washing them, she told me it costs extra $ 30 for a blow dry. I left the salon with my hair wet. No need to mention she overcharged me at first place. Would never go back to any of their locations.

first time client, One star given for the facility. Zero to the stylist Brie, who was recommended. Since i was a first time customer you would think she would pay attention to how I wanted to have my hair cut and styled… I get upset every time I comb my hair… the haircut is awful, Just to short, no kind of style, since I asked for
a trim and shaping, my hair is fine and in just a few minutes most of it was cut off.
Even the stylist had a hard time trying to make it look decent… No way would I
recommend this salon, also very much of an assembly line type place., no personal
attention.stations are about a foot apart.

My stylist Jennifer is great. She is a good person and good stylist. She is the only reason I went to Bianchi’s month after month to touch up my color.
Bianchi’s is a bit pretentious. Poor customer focus. If they even had it, they lost their hospitality and the ability to treat each customer like an individual. It feels a bit like a chain, rather than a welcoming neighborhood salon.
I switched to P.La. So far so good.

We go here to see Hana, who has been our hair dresser for almost a decade now. She is THE BEST!
Great for both women and men, big event styling for the ladies, and weddings. She did all the ladies in our bridal party and they all looked stunning. Highly recommend.
The salon itself is very nice and clean. Upscale and modern feel, well lit, good music. They offer wine, water, or coffee upon arrival and are usually polite. This is a definitely one of the nicer salons in our area.
My only gripe is, on occasion, the receptionists are not very helpful on the phone when scheduling an appointment. It has happened a few times, but I was able to resolve things by contacting Hana directly. Perhaps it’s out of their control, who knows.
All around, two thumbs up!

I went to see Azra. There was confusion when I booked my appointment for a cut/​color. I went in on a Wednesday for my cut, which was not good. I asked for a trim and she took off over 2″. Went back that Friday for color. I wanted my hair stepped from dark brown/​black to sandy blonde. She turned my hair into a mostly green, somewhat red, patchy black mess. When I told her I didn’t like my hair and when could she fix it, she told me Tuesday. I said I didn’t want to have to walk around like that until Tuesday and she replied that she wishes she hasn’t even taken me as a client.
I was given a discount on my services and I tipped her 40 for her time and effort.
The management at the salon tried to get me seen that same night to correct the color. Instead the l they booked me at the Royal Oak location. Just left and my hair looks amazing. It’s much shorter than I planned for but it will grow, and at least it’s not green! I’ll be taking my business to the Royal Oak location. But I do want to give due credit to the management staff for handling my situation as they did.

I highly reccomend this salon. It is very high quality service and worth every penny. My stylist is Hanna and she is very talented. She exceeds my expectations at every appointment, knows what I like, and is by far the best stylist I have ever had.
I am very particular with how I like my hair and have had many disasters, but you will not have any of this if you choose Hanna as your stylist. She is professional, friendly, and has a gift for hair coloring and styling. If you want fabulous hair, call Hanna at Bianchi’s salon West!

After realizing my regular salon would be closed the day of my engagement portraits, I hit Unilocal to track down one that would be serving clients on a Monday. Bianchi’s Salon West was close by, relatively local to my other appointments, and seemed like a good option. I picked it on a whim with no reviews from friends or family but man, it was one of the best decisions I made for the day next to our photographer!
I made an appointment with Marina and arrived early. I was greeted as soon as I came in and offered a beverage — everything from a cappuccino to water to tea. Since I had a latte beside me, I opted for a glass of water. I was told that my stylist would be with me shortly.
Marina didn’t need any direction once we began my appointment but listened carefully to what I wanted. I am someone who feels VERY nervous when getting my hair done (from bad experieces) so I can be a control freak who stresses out. For some reason I didn’t seem to worry with Marina — I told her I had 100% trust in her and told her I wanted volume, for it to last all day and beat the humidity, and be parted to the right. When I left, my hair was luxuriously thick, shiny, and so carefully styled that I got complimented on it for the rest of the day. Not only did it last throughout my appoiontment, it is still in place today without the use of a ridiculous amount of hair spray.
I paid $ 35 for this blow out — VERY reasonable. I would definitely visit Bianchi’s Salon West again. If you’re looking for a great stylist, make an appointment with Marina and relax — you will not be disappointed! I will be back.
On a side note, hardly anyone I know goes to this salon but it has a great location, staff, and service list. They need way more publicity and a better sign — you can hardly see it driving down Big Beaver!

Fair prices for my cut & color. Nice, large lcd tv’s to watch while waiting for color to set in. Best of all the cut/​style/​color I received was awesome! I terribly miss my favorite stylist in Marina del Rey, CA but have found my Michigan stylist in Angelina. Just 22yrs old but she made this 50yr old feel comfortable and thrilled with my new ‘do’.

I get my haircut here by Zef. He does a great job. I love long hair so when he cuts it it’s never to short or still to long.

I have been frequenting this salon since they opened several years back, having followed my stylist Jalal Dawod from his former employer. The vibe is trendy, but not off-​putting. In its’ current evolution, the walls are a cool-​blue, and the high ceilings boast chandeliers. The stylists — some appear to be über-​fashionable, while others are more like everyday folk. Everyone is friendly. The receptionist will take your coat and offer you a beverage while you wait. There are always magazines and local rag-​mags to read. But of course, the only real reason to frequent a salon is the artistry of the stylist. I give Jalal free reign with my hair, and he has never done anything drastic or given me a style that rendered me frantic. Yesterday he added a deep side bang that makes me look and (pause to flip hair) feel fabulous. But I have to say, I feel the same way every 5 – 6 weeks. He’s the best! Bianchi’s is opening a new salon in Royal Oak next month. If Jalal goes there, I’ll be sure to follow.
