I’d agree with prior review. This place is a classic up sell and screw the naïve customer. I am not a naïve customer but due to being very busy, had to leave my wife to deal with pulsing brakes. Told her it is 99% likely it is pulsing off the front rotors so she needs to get front rotors and pads replaced… also suggested ceramic pads. While Im working they talked her into changing the back brakes «that are worse» with crappy semimetallic pads at a total cost just over $ 400…with the $ 25 «coupon». They added a $ 21 shop supplies charge for the brake and rotor job, that’s a whole lot of paper towels and brake cleaner! The result: quality and intensity of pulse unchanged. Didn’t mention «they forgot something» so my wife had to return yet again after leaving due to a scraping noise. Bottom line, you likely will get a bumbling mechanic crew and dishonest upselling when you go to Grismer. Got front rotors and ceramic pads for just over $ 250 since at a smaller shop. We have free lifetime tire rotation and won’t go back. afraid of sabotage to make sure customer comes back.

We’ve been taking our cars for service here for a few years, had been satisfied with service up until recently. One of our vehicles needed a simple repair but was presented a large estimate to have the repair completed. When I looked at the estimate I noticed a number of things unrelated to what needed done on the itemization, approximately $ 400 more. I took the car up the road and told the mechanic what I wanted fixed, miraculously it was repaired for 30 percent of what Grismer had wanted, no mention of need for other unrelated parts/​services. I guess we won’t be going back there again.
