History

Established in 2006.

Kaleidoscope Cards and Crafts was started after Kim, the owner, bought a scrapbooking magazine for her mother-​in-​law. Intrigued by a die-​cutting tool in the magazine, Kim decided she had to buy one for herself. Eight months pregnant, Kim felt guilty for spending money on the tool and began selling dies on eBay. What started as two dies turned into over 400, and later into the store we have today.

I’ve been really disappointed in this place from the very start and thanks to all these reviews I’m glad my order never went through! I emailed the company twice in the last two weeks and no answer. I was trying to place an order and I would get through the process but at the very end in the confirmation it would give me an error message and not let me continue. I decided to look up reviews and see if others had trouble… now I really know to give up on it with good reason!

Exact same experience, exact same product as other posters. Order at your own risk! On April 30, 2010, I ordered an Epic 6 Tool/​Letterpress Combo Kit. One month later I contact the company to find out when the item would be shipped, as I was shocked I had not yet received it. I received no reply. I continued to attempt to contact them, via the form on their website, emails, and voicemail and never received any communication. When I initiated the PayPal protection program to complain, I found I had missed the deadline for a refund there by hours, but sent a complaint to them via PayPal as well. I have periodically continued my attempts to contact them, utilizing every means available to me including their (now deleted — I wonder why!)Facebook page, but the only response I received was their deleting of my polite, but public complaints there. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB and they have over 20 unresolved non-​delivery complaints listed there! BUYER BEWARE!

I’ve had the same experience as the previous poster. My husband ordered a letter press kit that was listed as in-​stock on their website over a year ago and we were told over and over that they were expecting a shipment soon and that we had to wait. They kept saying this until the time to file a complaint and get a refund from Google Checkout was over, and then they stopped responding to emails, phone calls, and communications through Google Checkout. I’ve asked for a refund, but received no response whatsoever. Pretty shocking that they are getting away with stealing $ 160 from me and goodness knows how many others.

Unfortunately, they seem to have a problem with answering phone calls and emails. I ordered a product from them one year ago, and was told the product was back-​ordered. Well, a year later I’m still waiting. All I want now is a refund, but my calls and emails are not getting answered. Please think twice about placing your order!
