Amazing spot. Too busy eating to finish this review. Just go, what are you, stupid or something? Ps, get the cauliflower.

I’m a fan of Lebanese food, especially the garlic paste. My husband and his family introduced me to this restaurant and whenever the family comes here, we always get the House Combo for 2… Which feeds at least 5! It comes with a little of everything (schwarma, tawook, the ground meat, rice and 2 salads/​soup) along with a little bowl of the garlic paste and a yogurt sauce. I love the variety and their garlic paste is very good.
The service is good — not great but not bad. The food comes out hot and there is plenty of it! If you have a group that is looking for some variety without ordering individual meals, get the House Combo for 2!

I had been to the other Lebanese Grill location (Sterling Heights /​Clinton Twp. area) but not this one, and this is a five minute drive from my area, so when I saw a Groupon for it, I decided to buy it. My boyfriend and I stopped in here before a show downtown this weekend.
PROS:
–The food was very good, although my boyfriend said he likes the food at the one by him better. I got the chicken kebab platter ($ 14.95) and you get a ton of food — diced chicken, rice, and garlic paste, which I swear I could live off of. He got a lamb and hummus appetizer for his meal, as well as a chicken fattoush salad.
–The bread was extremely fresh and a busboy kept it coming, too. It came with some sort of oil mixture so I asked for garlic paste too, I had to ask twice though.
–Atmosphere is nice. He had actually measured the place for his old job, and he said they had done some renovations and it looks nicer now.
–Prices are decent. Sandwiches are only about $ 5, entrees or salads were like $ 11 – 15 but you get a lot of food; I definitely have leftovers for work tomorrow.
CONS:
All of these are small/​picky things but…
–I asked for some containers for the leftover garlic paste, instead the waitress asked if I wanted some garlic to go. I said yes and it ended up being $ 1.50 extra.
–We each tried to order a Coke with grenadine (regular for him, Diet Coke for me) and the waitress didn’t really get what we were asking.
–I had to ask twice for garlic paste to go with the bread.
I’d definitely come back here, maybe to grab a sandwich for lunch one day. The Entertainment book has coupons and they have a buy 1 entrée, get one 50% off check-​in offer here on Unilocal too.

This was not my first time here. Overall not a good experience at all!
It took a while to get our appetizer of hummus. The hummus was delivered and we had to wait for bread to be dropped off. They dropped bread off and oil which should have come before we even ordered not after the hummus arrived. It seemed like the «fresh» pita had been re-​heated as it was kind of crunch and stale. Even the pita in the plastic bags was stale as well.
Next I ordered some soup. When ordering the crushed lentil soup I asked for lemons. The soup was delivered and we had to ask for lemons again.
We both ordered salads for our meals with chicken breast. The salad had so much dressing on it we had to ask for them to remake the salads. While waiting for the remade salads I tasted some of the chicken. There were pieces that we rubbery and chewy. When the new salad came the waitress said, you can transfer you meat to the new salad. A lot of the chicken was terrible.
The waitress loudly complained to the management about the cook over dressing the salads regularly. Nothing was done by the management. They didn’t even come to the table to apologize or ask us if everything was ok.
There are lots of good middle eastern restaurants to choose from in the area. I’d stay away from this place!

Used a groupon voucher for the dinner menu $ 16 for $ 25 dinner for 2. I was recommended by my waitress to get the combo dinner for 2 at the price of $ 29. Or to chose things separately. It came with my choice of lentil soup and bread. It’s was ok I’ve tasted better. The food wasn’t as hot as I thought it would be. But it was pretty tasty along with the garlic sauce. It pretty much tastes like what I’ve tasted before for Lebanese food. I loved the décor. The AC was on a bit high where I sat. So I was shivering while I was eating. That could be the reason to my food being warm and not hot.
My husband and I were pretty full. Had to take the rest to go. Overall it’s an okay restaurant. The price can be a little cheaper. The décor was nice. The staff were nice. Oh pS. If you want a mango smoothie your gonna get a «fruit smoothie» when I asked the waitress why she gave me that instead of mango she explained you have to ask only for mango. And you will get mango juice. Not sure who taught them what a specific smoothie stands for. Instead of taking the wrong drink and giving me the correct one she gave me a fast lesson on what a smoothie is.
I’ve always had mango smoothie every where with only mango in it. And no where did I get a mixed fruit smoothie smh on that. I would recommend people there. But I wanna try it a few more times before I tell anyone I know to go there.

Visited Lebanese Grill twice with some guys from work. Less than a couple of miles away, that’s good. Spacious interior, over both lunches it filled up but wasn’t crowded. One of my buddies ordered the garlic dip, and that was great! Such a palate cleanser! I had the cream chop chicken (basically a deep fried chicken cutlet) lunch special one time and the Shish Kafta (grilled beef, chicken, and lamb loaf without the skewers) the next. Complimentary warm pita bread and olive oil, nice. We needed it as both times the food ordered took about 30 minutes to arrive. They were both piping hot, and very good. The grilled meat was lightly seasoned and excellent carmelization. The plates came with a starch (french fries), greens, and roasted vegetables. A lot of food, and I had to take some home as leftovers both times. Most of the lunch specials were under $ 14, very nice. I made a mistake with the Shish Kafta, and there wasn’t a lunch special for it. I was charged the full meal price of $ 18.95 for it, and that was a little excessive. For an occasional treat Lebanese Grill is nice and the lunch specials are great. Will repeat and recommend when you want to have something a little different.

Don’t be fooled by the plain jane exterior and parking lot, this is one hot spot for highly traditional beautifully prepared Lebanese dishes. Grandma may not be cooking in the kitchen but her skills and expertise shine through in the delicious dishes served here.

Mediterranean is one of my favorite cuisines and Lebanese Grill didn’t disappoint.
I chose the lunch combo — soup/​salad, unlimited pita bread, hummus, baba ghannouj (not sure), felafel, rice/​fries, grape leaves and you could add roasted potatoes for a $ 1 extra.
It came in big portions and I could get the leftovers home for dinner.
Polite staff. Good place.

The food was really good. For 16 $ the combo was really filling. The ambience of the restaurant was good. Taste was also really good. Of all the Mediterranean restaurants I have visited, this was the only one who served Zatar, which is pretty famous in the gulf.
I would recommend this restaurant and would definitely visit again.

Love this place always have always will. The service is fast friendly and precise. The garlic I dream about. The tabouli is so fresh and half an order is more than enough. It’s a must do when I’m in town. Thankfully he even honored by expired Living Social coupon.

Okay, but I’ve had better. It you’re a fan of soggy schwarmas then this is the place for you. Today, my carry out order included an extra side of moldy pita bread. Yumm! I gave it 2 stars because the salad is actually pretty good with their house dressing.

It’s been a long time, but good as always. We moved away and decided to come back. We used the Groupon 15 for 10 deal and got the combo schwarma and two bowls of lentil soup. This is the best meal here my humble opinion.

Let’s start off that first time they wouldn’t honor a groupon per each separately paying person in party and second time we gave them a shot the Unilocal coupon was scammy (as you find out on site, «50% off your dinner» is actually buy one get one half off dinner entrees)
Ayares my companion ordered was delicious. everything else not so much. Lentil soup was full of flour and shwarmas were awful. It was the worst lamb I had in my life, I couldn’t chew it through. Chicken one was edible but not tasty.
My waitress was young, quirky, fast and kind.
The rest of our experience was a Lebanese gypsy circus show: D Awfully loud music, numerous unattended, misbehaving children bouncing off of our dining furniture.
Chubby ladies screeching, screaming and taking selfies leaning onto our table literally with us in the background.
All that proudly supervised by the smirking owner of the establishment who with satisfaction was stroking his full belly and giving us a dismissive look when I tried to make eye contact. It was so bad that we found it hilarious at some point!

It was super meh for me. I had hoummus, garlic and mjadra. The hoummus and garlic were good, but they give you 2 pieces of warm bread at a time. The mjadra was not good.
I had a groupon. But I wouldn’t go back. It just wasn’t worth the price and it wasn’t good.

Been there for twice for lunch and twice for dinner, and they seemed to amaze me every time I have been there. I tried the kebab platter for one and also the kebab platter for two the other time. Also had the opportunity to try their shawarma. I usually ask them to serve food with rice rather than fries. Their rice pilaf is not a plain rice pilaf like most other places. It is rather a vermicelli and rice mix pilaf. The star of their lunch is the roasted vegetables that is served with the meal. And I just love the way they grill/​roast the veggies. Just the right amount of charring and seasoning.
Another unsung hero at this jewel is their chicken soup. Nothing wrong with their lentil soup. I love their lentil soup to but it’s too thick for my personal taste. Both soups are good but I personally like the chicken soup.
And by the way their wine selection is pretty good too. Although it doesn’t change too frequently, it does change may be few times a year.

Went for lunch on a weekday. Parking was awful as the parking lot is very small. Had to park on a side street, which led me to believe this place must be awesome as the place must be packed. Entered and was quickly greeted and seated by the very friendly and attentive staff. Ordered the lamb with hommous with crushed lentil soup and a papaya smoothie. Soup and smoothie were both excellent, the hommous was good but the lamb had a gravy on it. I have ordered this other places and it has never had gravy. Gravy wasn’t awful, but prefer lamb without it. Also, was only given one piece of fresh pita bread. Rest of bread was like from grocery store. All this for 20 dollars plus tip!!! Way too expensive for what you get. This place wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t very good either.

Service was very good and staff were all friendly. Food was good but mostly average… nothing was bad, just average. We ordered a meaty combo and had plenty to take home for two more meals. It is much closer for us than some better ones we like in Dearborn so we may go here again sometime.

Great service, great food, always fast. I started going here when I started using GrubHub, it’s become one of my favorite Lebanese places. The price is a bit high considering the prices at other places in Royal Oak, but it’s a small issue considering how close it is to my home. Definitely recommend, try the baklava.

I’ve carried out from this place a few times and never once have I been completely satisfied. The staff is pushy, the ingredient portions within the ghalaba are backwards and the food is way over priced. Not once has the garlic dip been included in my order. I’ve given this place a shot several times and each time has been worse than the last. Don’t even bother.

I’ve only been here twice and both times it was delicious. Staff is always friendly and the food is always fresh. Love the shawarma, chicken is always great. Pita and Garlic sauce is to die for!
