Lucky Puppy Custom Cuts

Officially done with this place. The last time I kenneled my dogs here for two days they not only lost our gentle leader leash but we got our dog bed back covered in poo and vomit. I thought well, our dog has a sensitive stomach so maybe it was just a nerves thing. We kenneled them again for a few days longer this time. I went to drop them off Sunday morning at 915. They are closed, the door is locked, and when I call no one answers. I am leaving town in two hours and start wondering what my back up plan is. I knock on the door a few more times and a nice guy answers and seems surprised since they didn’t say anything about someone dropping off. Slight lack of communication but ok. This time when I picked them up one dog still hadn’t been bathed and the other has poop crusted on her ear. I’m not about to take a second trip up here to pick them up so I just skipped it. Both dogs had to pee for a really long time as soon as we left the office which makes me believe they haven’t been let out since last night. As soon as we stepped in the house one dog puked and the other is having some stomach issues to spare you the details. We brought our own food that they’ve been eating for years and have never had a problem with until now. I have no idea what they ate or what happened but I’m not boarding them here again. If you need to drop your pet off for the night in an emergency this place is ok, anything more keep searching.

we have used Lucky Puppy for our senior dog, cat and new puppy. They are GREAT with each animal ! Our cat is challenging to anyone who works with her-​the staff handled this like it is expected and welcomed us! Our senior dog was handled so gently and she LOVED going there. We trusted our new pup to their care and I really recommend their puppy package. He was excited and happy to see the staff and they worked very well with us as we figured out how we wanted him cut (Shichon). We trusted them several times to board our dog too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Took my cat in today, they have a drop off time of between 8 – 9, we got there about 8:20 and dropped him off. They were very nice, except dogs were barking loudly everywhere this really freaked out my cat, they didn’t explain what all was goin to be done how they would do it or when they would get to him. I told them I would come get him as soon as he was ready because being around all the barking dogs stresses him out. 2 hrs later they were just getting to him, when I finally picked him up the girl told me if I ever wanted it done again I would need to sedate him and that he peed on her. Maybe if they hadn’t left him alone in a cage for 2 hrs he wouldn’t have been so upset. Then another lady comes and tells me he did ok and that sedating him isn’t good for them she doesn’t recommend it. The haircut itself is decent, not worth $ 40. It wasn’t a terrible experience but I wouldn’t pass on a recommendation.
