It’s their busy season, and as a result, we started with a scheduling snafu– so I didn’t have high hopes. I love when I’m surprised. The SunShade team started by doing the single best thing a customer-​service oriented organization can do: figuring out what went wrong and making it right. All you can ask. From there, I experienced the same expertise and service others here rave about. An absolutely flawless job on my car– and just as importantly: Expert, detailed, and helpful consulting to make sure I knew what I was getting, what my choices were, and anything else I’d want to know. Seriously– well done, guys. I’ll be back, and would recommend SunShade to anyone.

The tint work they do is very good. But I won’t go back, because two of the three cars I’ve taken there they have broken stuff on. The first time they broke the entire third brake light fixture off. The third car they did over $ 3000 worth of damage to my car. I have a very good extended warranty on my car, so I ran the repair through that. I wasn’t about to spend that kind of money, and then take on court, and lawyer fees. When I discussed it with them at the shop when I picked it up, and later on the phone, I was told that since I couldn’t prove they did it (see them actually in the process of doing the damage) they would do nothing. I dropped the car off, then I picked it up. There is no other explanation as to who did the damage other than them.

I live 45 minutes away but had my car done here because they had great reviews and all I can say is they did a phenomenal job. They were professional and very knowledgable about the different options available. My car was ready in 3 ½ hours and worth the drive and the work was amazing and very clean. I will definitely be back for future car tinting services. Bottom line is don’t go anywhere else!

Darren, Erik, Kevin are always great to me every time I come here to get anything done to my vehicles. They specialize in tinting, films, and overall car detail work. Their quality of work is next to amazing. The price is a little more expensive than others, but the quality of the finished product completely out weights the price. I’m very happy with my finished products every time I come here, and that’s why I’m a repeat customer. I highly recommend this place! You won’t find anything better in Michigan :)

Erik and his crew did a great job with my C63 507 edition. Erik went over all the details regarding PPF and tint films prior to deciding on the product and service. The work was very professional and meticulous. The PPF to my front bumper and hood is invisible. The tint was flawless. This is the type of quality you pay for. I highly recommend sunshade for any window tinting or paint protection film work.

Had my VW Golf tinted here about a year ago. I had the tint removed from the entire car and had the back windows redone.
The rear windows on this vehicle are difficult to tint due to the curved rear glass, but they did an excellent job and I see no defects so far.
They guarantee the tint so you can return to have it redone if you see problems.
They were friendly and provided good service in a timely fashion.
The tint is pretty high quality as well as being a carbon based product, so it resists UV fading.

Used this place to have my windows tinted on my SHO, came out awesome! Great product and amazing service and installation. I needed it done before taking my car to Texas for 6 weeks and they were able to make some great recommendations and were able to fit me in before I had to leave for my trip. Will absolutely be back for my next vehicle in the future.

I am writing this post about 10 months after I got my windows tinted. They were professional in how they operated and good at what they did. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering SunShade. I have had no problems with my tints and even if I did they would take care of it no questions asked. I’m actually thinking of going back to do my windshield.
Another note is that their prices might be a little bit more than the average market prices, but it is well worth it, because you are guaranteed to be well taken care of.

I have had my previous two cars tinted here.
And I’m calling today to make an appointment for my new car.
I searched online for a long time and it seemed that in south east Michigan, this is the place to go. So I made an appointment.
I left my car there and was called back an hour and a half later saying my vehicle was done. The tint laid down perfect. VW’s are notoriously difficult to tint because of the odd shaped rear windows and the massive amount of dot matrix they have but sunshade did a perfect job. I am extremely anal when it comes to my cars and I was very pleased with the results. A year later I called them again to have them tint my new vehicle. And I’ll be calling them again today to make an appointment again.
Fantastic tint shop. Highly recommended.

I’m not sure what to make of window tinting, especially living in a state where anything on the front windows is illegal. I try not to give the police reasons to pull me over. That being said when I bought my new car I saw a need to tint the car due to the fishbowl like styling.
The tint turned out fantastic, they really did a great job. I was pleased to see that they were careful not to get the interior dirty during the process. After my experience there I would gladly recommend them to anyone.
