The Collision Shop

I would give this place a zero rating if I can. I had given my car for a minor repair which was estimated for a 5 day work. Today is 4^th week and they do not have a date by which then will even know when my car will be ready. The guy who took the car will not answer or call me back from last 9 days. They say that the technician that was handling my car did not handle my car in the right way so they FIRED him and my car is with a new Technician who has 8 more cars and he does not know when he will get back to my car. On Aug 20^th (9 Days back) they told that the front door was bad and it was supposed to be replaced but the expert technician put more time and saved the door and the car will be ready in 2 days. No update, no calls, no call back. Finally from Aug 24^th (3^rd week) a new person starting talking and assured that she will take care of the car but did not have any update on the car. After calling every day on Aug 27^th she completes her investigation (Her words) on the car and tells me that it is the back door that had to be replaced. On Aug 30^th I call and they do not have a date when the car will be fixed. By the way sill the original sales guy who took the car will not call me back for some reason and no one seems to know when he will be back in the office. The update I get today is that my car is one of the 8 cars that is with a technician and the do not know when he can get to the car and when it will be ready. I still do not know how well they will do the car but take my advice and avoid this place if you can. They tell you to avoided insurance claim because auto shop will use cheap stuff if we use insurance as they feel the insurance companies will not pay them good. Cannot believe that I got trapped in this place.

I had a good experience with this collision shop. After getting into an accident and having the bare minimum for insurance, I can say the following good things about this repair shop:
1. The manager, Dan, worked with the other person’s and my insurance companies to get the $ 500 mini-​tort claim from the other person’s insurance, so I didn’t have to deal with the bureaucracy at all really.
2. He also worked with me to get the price down to something I could afford.
3. Although the damage to my car was only body damage, I got the call to pick it up within 3 days, which is better than a lot of repair shops I’ve been to.
I would recommend this repair shop.
