Whether you are an older adult wanting to safely stay in your current home, stressed-out parents moving into a new home or empty-nesters needing to sell your home, we can assist you with a variety of services. Tranquil Transitions offers everything from organizing and packing to item disposal, move management and home staging. We can manage the whole project or simply assist with a few tasks. Tranquil Transitions provides quality Senior Move Management services. If you or a loved one needs assistance organizing, packing or disposing of items, we can help you with everything from planning to arranging a safe floor plan. If you have lost a loved one and need assistance dispersing heirlooms, we can help. If you need to downsize from your current living space into a smaller environment, we can manage your move. Need to sell a home? Tranquil Transitions can up-date your curb appeal, put items in storage and even assist with home staging.
Meet the Business Owner
Amy D and Lisa F.
Business Owner
Amy is a life-long resident of Glen Carbon, Illinois. She attended Edwardsville Senior High School and Lewis and Clark Community College. Amy has five years of experience as an Activities Director in nursing homes and spent over three years as a personal assistant to seniors. Her hands-on experience in a variety of roles working with older adults has given her insight into the unique needs of seniors and their families. Amy and her family enjoy camping, fishing and hunting.
Lisa is a military brat. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Minnesota, as well as a Master’s degree in Sociology from Southern Illinois University –Most of her life and work experience has revolved around teaching and care taking. With an active family and growing business, Lisa has to keep her life balanced and organized. She shares that hands-on knowledge in speaking engagements, as well as with clients.
