Polly specializes in Visionary Craniosacral Work, Therapeutic Massage, and Reiki. Her work may help with symptoms of chronic back and neck pain, TMJ dysfunction, migraine and tension headaches, whiplash injury, sinusitis, chronic fatigue, depression, exhaustion, insomnia, anxiety, hormonal imbalances, and stress-​related illness. Polly’s healing work can be used as a tool for personal and spiritual growth. The meditative states that are encountered are ideal for exploring deeper realms of who we are. Her work may be appropriate for people working through addictions or challenging life transitions, desiring a deeper contact with their emotional body, and/​or seeking greater understanding of their spiritual self.

History

Established in 1991.

Polly has been practicing massage for over 19 years. She graduated from the Boulder School of Massage in 1991 with over 1,000 hours of training. Since then, she has worked full time as a massage therapist.

Polly worked and managed Lighthouse Massage Therapy in Tahoe City for 7 years. During that time she studied the Feldenkrais Method through the Movement Studies Institute, and became a practitioner in 1999.

Polly opened her private practice, Bodywise Movement and Massage in 2000. She began studying Visonary Craniosacral Work through the Milne Institute in 2003, and finished her certification in 2007. She has been a teacher’s assistant for the training for several years. She is also a Reiki Master, participating in many years of advanced healing circles in the Tahoe area. She works with Aromatherapy, using Young Living Essential Oils in her sessions. Polly is a trained Doula, and is an experienced pregnancy massage therapist.
