Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Artist and craftsman Garrison Green grew up in rural New England where his earliest memories are of «helping» his Dad add on to the family home. Tools and wood working were part of every day life. Building tree houses, bows and arrows, and makeshift boats were ongoing activities. After college and a career in Silicon Valley high tech, he moved to the Lake Tahoe area and established Treetop Workshop in a converted barn and began making furniture and other items for his home, family and friends. He eventually began selling items in local stores using reclaimed lumber from old structures in the Tahoe-​Truckee area. Carving signs and wall art is now his main focus because it combines wood working with art and computer skills. He still dreams of beautiful, new wooden creations every day.
