Dr. David Schroeder, BA, DC is a 2nd generation chiropractor and is 1 of 7 chiropractors in the immediate family.

Extensive lifelong training in the DC profession mixed with years of competitive sports such as NCAA ice hockey, football, baseball, Ironman triathlons, Half-​iron triathlons, mountain biking, rockclimbing, endurance cycling having cycled from OR to FL in 2002 and from Canada to Mexico in 2006.

Father and sister chiropractors also compete in USATriathlon events.

Needless to say, chiropractic has played an integral part of DrDave’s longevity in sports and active lifestyle in the Sierra Nevadas.

My 5 week old baby was suffering from terrible colic, she had cried for hours on end, days at a time for 3 weeks. I didn’t know what to do to help her, my mother and I contacted Dr Dave to ask for advice and he suggested to come see him. After 2 visits it completely turned her colic around and she became the happy baby we were hoping for. We continue to have her adjusted periodically because of the great success, thank you Dr Dave!

My back went into spasms on our first day of vacation. Dave was able to see me on a Sunday and provided relief, herbs and reminded me to ice, stretch and rest. I did my homework, saw him again two days later and my back slowly returned to normal. He was easy going, flexible and professional. Definitely recommend!

Dr. Dave is very accommodating and has a great positive aura.
I was in pain after an unsuccessful «head stand» (messing around with an 8 year old). He was like a savior. He saw me the same day, did a great adjustment with professional attitude, great smile and some cool technical instrument that relaxed the muscles right away.
When I am back in Truckee I will be definitely contacting Dr. Dave — and since he is able to travel to the location, my whole family will get the adjustment at the comfort of our home!

Dr Dave is my go-​to chiropractor from now on. I found him on Unilocal and he was exactly what I needed. He did several adjustments in one visit and when I left, I was completely pain free. His schedule is really flexible and he has always fit me in when needed. Prices are completely affordable. I will definitely be going to him for any adjustments from now on.

I’m an avid snowboarder that frequents Northstar, Truckee, and the Lake Tahoe area. I was in search of a chiropractor to just align me after a 3 hour drive and a couple falls on the slopes. To my relief Dr. Dave was available, and not only did he give me a great adjustment, he also used a new technique called Rapid Release that broke up adhesions in my neck, lowerback, and shoulders. He is extremely friendly and professional. If you are a weekend warrior and need a good fix before your drive home I would definitely give Dr. Dave a call!

Dr. Dave totally saved me! I was on day 3 of a 2 week ski trip when I slipped a rib head out of place (not an infrequent occurrence) and he was able to see me within hours. His home office is totally clean and welcoming (the house smells like fresh baked cookies), and he has all of the latest tools of the trade including a new mechanism for breaking up deep scar tissue. Dr. Dave also takes most insurance and was flexible regarding a claim or cash. I felt immediate relief and would definitely see him again when I’m in town. Dr. Dave is the best!

Dr. Dave was super responsive. I was up in Tahoe for a medical conference. I don’t know if it was the combination of the relaxation of being in Tahoe, but his adjustments lasted a lot longer than my adjustments in San Francisco! He used a machine called ‘Rapid Release’ that worked on the soft tissue before the adjustment. His rates were very reasonable (especially compared to San Francisco rates). He fit me in when I needed to, and was helpful with local Truckee rec’s! I will be back next time I go up to Tahoe. Saved me money on a massage as well. Thanks!

Okay, my back was spasming so badly that my brother drove me to Dr. Dave’s home office where I hobbled through the door doubled over in pain. Note that this was 15 minutes after calling Dr. Dave for the first time. Dr. Dave was totally professional and friendly and went to work on my back and neck. I can’t say the pain was gone, but less than an hour later I was able to stand upright and the next morning I was able to drive myself to his office for some additional work. I can highly recommend Dr. Dave.

I was in Tahoe recently for some snow skiing and took a bad fall. My back went into spasm and I was in dire need of a chiropractic adjustment. I was referred to Dr. Dave by a friend who told me about his great services. I have been treated by many different chiropractors in my day and was very impressed with Dr. Dave and his chiropractic knowledge. Using his chiropractic skills he was able to get me some serious relief and I was able to get back on the ski hill the next day.

Amazingly helpful and accessible. I threw my back out during a Bikram class, and the next day found Dr. Dave via his excellent Unilocal reviews. He saw me that day, immediately identified the problem and went to work. Three sessions later my back is much, much better.
Highly recommend seeing Dr. Dave. He’s accessible, affordable, and does excellent work. He also had suggestions on fitness programs, specific to my needs. Finally, he’s a really nice guy.

Dr. Dave did a great job for me. He was able to fit me in on a holiday and did a nice job relieving some serious pain in my neck from a snowboard wreck… I’m not the most experienced chiropractic patient, but he was great for me and a super nice guy.
He apparently will come to see you, which sounds great, though I chose to go see him which worked fine too.
