Truckee Tavern ad Grill is Truckee’s newest restaurant. We opened on June 18, 2014. Our specialty is wood fire cuisine featuring local grown produce and meats. Our approachable cocktail program utilizes fresh herbs, juices and house made concoctions. Our wine list specializes in a mix of hard to find producers as well as known names that compliment our food.

History

Established in 2014.

In 2014 Chris St. Martin and Ryan Dierks joined forces to create Truckee Tavern and Grill. Truckee Tavern and Grill is centered around the concept of enjoying a meal with friends and family as a social event. Our portions are larger than normal and meant to be shared.

During prohibition, it’s said that Truckee was a distilling hub for whiskey and gin in S.F. and other area’s. Truckee Tavern and Grill is keeping the love for whiskey and gin alive. Our cocktail program is focused on whiskey and gin. Don’t be scared they are approachable and delicious.

Executive Chef: Donovan Webb

Donovan has been a chef for ten years. Donovan’s formative years were spent working under some of the best chefs such as Suzanne Tracht and Traci Des Jardins. Most recently Donovan hung his hat at Manzanita at Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe.
