I was really impressed with Ben and the way he runs his business. He is super professional and on it. My furnace broke before a big snow storm. He came out, as promised, the day of the snow storm right on time. He trouble shot the problem and couldn’t fix it so he came back a few days later with a few different options and when none of them worked he installed a new furnace for us. The whole time he was super clear with cost and really honest. He’s just running a good clean business. I would 100% recommend him again.

We had Ben install a Heat Pump in our new 2015 Golden West in Oregon City, he was very concerned about every little detail. He was recommended by Black Diamond and he did high quality work at a responsible rate. He stood behind his work even after the sale.

I will use this company exclusively anytime I need repairs for my heating & cooling needs.
My story? I woke up this morning (Saturday) and realized our water heater was not working. We are new to the Sherwood area so I searched Unilocal for a respectable repair company with great reviews. I use Unilocal religiously because I ALWAYS have great experiences. I called and left a message at 8am and received a return call from Ben within the hour. I explained my situation, but he informed me that they don’t do water heater repairs. However, he did give me a contact name and number of someone he uses. Before we concluded our call, he gave me some things to try. I went out to the water heater and did the things he recommended and it worked. The water heater is up and running.
This is what makes a great company. Ben went above and beyond to help me resolve my situation, although he wasn’t obligated. Honesty and great customer service is what will give ²⁴⁄₇ my trust and future business.

Had Ben come out and do an inspection on our 20+ year old gas furnace. We were needing to keep the front panel off the unit in order to keep it running so we new something was wrong. Ben took the time to show and explain to me exactly what the problem was. He gave us the option of just replacing the broken part (which was a main component of the furnace) or get a new one. We chose to replace our old one. He arrived on time for our installation appointment and had the new furnace installed. He did an excellent job with everything and was personable and very professional. Two thumbs up!

We are new to the area and needed to have the heat pump serviced. I called ²⁴⁄₇ because of the excellent reviews on Unilocal and they did not disappoint. Ben arrived on time and was very nice and professional. He went straight to work with the service. I was dreading the news that we were going to need a new unit but he surprised me and said that the unit was in good working order and could last 5 – 10 more years!
He did recommend that we replace one part, which we did. He also took the time to explain the equipment, how it works and what we should do to maintain and ensure it would have a longer life. I also asked about the maintenance plan which seems like a great idea.
I am very grateful that he was honest and did not try to sell us on a new unit when we did not need one. When that time comes we will definitely know who to call, Ben!

I bought my house in the summer 2 years ago in 2013 and the furnace was old that came with the house. During the fall/​winter when it became colder we started using the gas furnace, and noticed it had problems. So to make sure that I wasn’t going to get ripped off, I called 3 different repair companies and got estimates from all of them. My furnace would constantly flame out and re-​ignite every few seconds, which was annoying but it still worked. Then after a month or so it kept trying to re-​ignite but couldn’t so I was forced to buy electric heaters until I got the furnace repaired.
Ben from ²⁴⁄₇ was one of the 3 companies that came out to give me the estimate to repair it. He showed up on time and was very polite, but said the furnace was so old they didn’t make the parts for them anymore. He recommended that I purchase a whole new furnace from him, the lowest price was $ 3,500 and the highest price was $ 8,000. I said I would consider it, and waited for the next repairman arriving the next day from NW Sundance Services. The repairman from NW Sundance Services was also on time and polite, but said the replacement igniter control part was a common failure and replaced the igniter for $ 75! Then after about another month my furnace was not starting at all, so I called NW Sundance Services again and he replaced the gas regulator for another $ 75. So a grand total of $ 150 to fix my furnace from NW Sundance Services, quite a bit less than the $ 3,000 to $ 8,000 from ²⁴⁄₇ Heating and Cooling!
Also, just to come out and evaluate your problem, Ben charges $ 100 just to look. I called up Ben and asked him to refund me the $ 100 because he incorrectly diagnosed my system by telling me that the parts were not made for it anymore. But he said that the $ 100 was non-​refundable, which seems wrong to me.
My furnace is a Lennox G12RQ3E-82−8 and was manufactured 06/​1986, almost 30 years old but they still make the parts for it.

So the family and I were out of town for a day and a half and came home and walked into our really cold ice box of a house. Wait… what? What the hell you do with the thermostat? It’s freezing in here. The wife said
«Nothing»
We looked at the thermostat and the house was 60 degrees inside. That’s not very warm to keep a 10 month old baby warm, especially when she’s under the weather. I did what any person would do. Go the furnace and stare at it, hoping that it suddenly will kick back on. I stood there in my garage looking for any signs of life. The furnace kicked on but there was no fire coming from the natural gas.
I asked the wife to check if we paid the bill. She looked; yeah… it’s on auto pay. Ok… struck that theory off the list. Than I went to the circuit breaker, turned it off and waited about 2 minutes. Turned the sucker back on and boom… nothing changed.
So I turned to the trusty Unilocal app and searched heating and cooling. It gave me a list of business. My wife saw ²⁴⁄₇ Heating and Cooling and decided to call. No answer, she left a message. About 30 minutes later Ben called and asked what was going on. We explained the situation and she had me go back to the breaker and turn off the furnace again.
I’m thinking, ok the guy is on the phone it’s going to work. That’s just how it is. You drive your car, some warning light comes on and you take it to the garage and they find nothing wrong, and you look like an idiot.
Well, unfortunately that didn’t happen. I had a dead furnace. Ben said that he would hop on over from Tualatin. Since it was 9 PM at night I was looking to pay $ 149 due to the over time rate. But my little girl needs the heat, so I’m not going to complain.
Ben came by and went straight to work. He did some tests and found out the temperature sensor that turns the furnace on and off was malfunctioning. I was glad that I didn’t need to buy an entire new furnace. He bypassed the system but he said that it would only work for a few days before the bypass broke down. Ben informed us that we needed a new part but that he didn’t have the part at all in his truck.
He checked the house and said that he noticed some of the vents in the house were closed. He said that when it’s closed it forces the heat to come back into the furnace thus causing the temperature to creep up and wreaking havoc on the system.
The next day Ben came back with the part and installed it and also did check the furnace for any other issues as well as the house. Since it was day light he checked our AC unit outside and told us that we have a heat pump. He explained to me how the heat pump works. I think I got it, but he said overall the system seems to be working fine.
He did look at the air filter upstairs as it was making a loud sucking sound. I explained to him that it’s one of those air filters that you can clean with water. He said those were not very good and since the previous owners of the house spray painted over the area that it wasn’t working anyways. He recommended I go to Home Depot and get a better filter.
Overall I was satisfied with his service. I thought the price I paid $ 199 for the part and coupled with the $ 149 OT I had to pay; I thought it was money well spent. We was straight to the point and also was honest about the longevity of the current furnace we had and recommended steps we do to make sure we squeeze every penny out of it.
I’m glad that he took the time to drive all the way from Tualatin to Clackamas County to fix our heater. That’s quite a drive and that was way beyond expectation. He could have easily said it wasn’t his area to be at, but he didn’t, went into his truck and came to the house. Mucho Kudos for that.

We needed a furnace flue replaced ASAP. Called them on a Tuesday, quoted us and took the deposit Wednesday and fixed it Thursday. Ben was the technician who did the job. From start to end things were dealt in a very professional manner. Kept us updated about the appointments and about status of a few parts which were to be ordered. They even did accept payments immediately with a credit card and provided the receipt, which I appreciate.

Called for immediate service. He was in the area and showed up within 15 minutes. He was very professional and upfront with the work. Will defiantly use him again. The fix was simple and quick. Even though out landlord was upset over the price he stood his ground with his rates. He is an awesome self employed person and very very easy to work with. Don’t hesitate to call for fast professional quality work with a one year warranty on his work.

I have hired ²⁴⁄₇ Heating & Cooling twice. First time was last fall when they came out and did a furnace tune-​up. Great experience with that tech.
This week I had them come out and do a AC tune up in preparation for summer. My AC is over 8 years old and had never had anything done to other than be beat up by weed whackers, lawn mowers, and have a massive tree dump all its leaves on it. Needless to say, the AC unit was filthy! The tech (Ben), took the system apart, tested it out, and then cleaned the eight years of dust, dirt, and gunk off of it. Its running like a brand new unit now. A big wake up call for me, it looked OK on the outside, but it was a mess inside.
Both of my experiences with ²⁴⁄₇ were great. The techs know what they are talking about and they seem to genuinely want to help their customers out as best they can. In a few years it will be time to replace the furnace and they will be the first people I call.

Live near the Raleigh Park neighborhood and purchased the One furnace tune-​up and inspection Groupon and could not be more impressed with everything.
Scheduling was easy.
Was given a reminder call, which was appreciated.
Was called to let me know they were on their way and would be at my house shortly.
Was on time.
Ben did a great job communicating to me everything that he was checking for with my old furnace and made recommendations for certain repairs or what a replacement would look like.
When the time comes to invest in a new furnace, or if repairs become what we do in the meantime, I’ll be giving them a call back.
Very pleased and would recommend without any hesitation.

I had a coupon for an AC service. Ben came out and let me know everything was good to go. He offered to check out my furnace since I hadn’t had that checked in quite some time. He offered me a discount since he was already out. After finding my furnace needed some work, he offered me 2 options, repair or replace. I decided to replace. Fast foward a week for the install, prompt and courteous. Started first thing. He and Brad did a great job tearing out the old and installing the new. Very professional and let me know I could call at any time with questions or concerns. I’d highly recommend ²⁴⁄₇ to everyone. These guys are great.

Ben did an excellent job. He checked everything and helped me on changing filters that I didn’t know existed and shouldn’t of :) I would recommend him to anyone and he was very upfront with prices.

Ben and Brad did an excellent install on our new Daikin heat pump system. They are there for you when you call, show up on time, keep a tight schedule and are thorough communicators. (Unlike many contractors nowadays.) Fair pricing on our bid. We were referred to them by another trusted general contractor we have used prior and it all worked out great! Left the work site clean and didn’t tear our home apart during the install. The attention to detail was appreciated .When elements of the install needed to be discussed as to what would look aesthetically best their suggestions and ours were a match. I would not hesitate to have these guys do more work for us in the future and highly recommend them.

We recently had them come to our house and service our Air Conditioner. Our AC unit is a little older but they serviced it, cleaned it up and said it was still functioning so no need to upgrade or buy a new one. Ben was honest and really knew what he was talking about. We would use Ben and Brad again! Really great guys.
