Did any of you get lectured as a child (or even as an adult) about the importance of hand written thank you notes? I still get a nudge every now and again from my mom. And its like, yah, yah, I know…
Well, now I kind of see her point. I’ve known Daniel for a number of years because for a long time we worked at the same company. He gradually expanded his hobby and would take pictures at our company events, childrens’ photos at the on-​site school, etc. A few years ago he left the corporate world and decided to do this full time. He no longer works for the man. He is the man.
So now I just see him at our company «prom» and he does a great job. I’ve always been happy with his work and if you are considering hiring a photographer, take a look at his web site to see if his vision jibes with yours. I particularly like the more natural family portraits he takes in outdoor settings.
He is very web savvy and you get web confirmations of your order, etc. But a few weeks later a hand written thank you note arrived. Call me old fashioned, but that was the icing on the cake of a really great customer experience.
