Green Options will only send an ISA Certified Arborist to your property. Today, all of our arborist are experienced expert ISA Certified Arborists. We have one of only seven ISA Certified Municipal Specialists in the Pacific Northwest and a Board Certified Master Arborist on staff.

Green Options is a locally-​owned business, dedicated to maintaining the health and beauty of urban trees. At Green Options we understand that trees are an invaluable urban resource, we recognize that trees provide us with shade, beauty, protection and a reprieve from the day-​to-​day stresses of city living. Urban trees also help to reduce noise and air pollution, increase property values, and help provide us with the air that we breathe

History

Established in 2007.

With over 23 years of experience in the arboricultural arena, James Kinder is recognized as a visionary arborist who firmly believes that «we can save our earth together.» James is the founder and principal of Green Options Organic Tree Care, where he recruited the top arborists in the industry to offer customers a wide array of expertise and knowledge in professional arboricultural care. His strong desire to elevate arborists and to raise the standards in the tree care industry is one of the inspirations behind creating Green Options.

James brings a sincere passion for coaching and mentoring arborists to recognize their capabilities and the importance of following correct arboricultural standards. By employing a holistic philosophy, he believes that all arborists are accountable for their own accomplishments and responsible for each tree they leave behind.

This proved to be the cornerstone of the rapid, leadership-​focused path he would forge with one of the largest tree care companies in the world. As a knowledgeable and supportive arborist leader, he overcame the challenge of, pardon the pun «climbing the corporate ladder» as an arborist in a traditionally hack and slash dominated industry.

He is committed to bringing this same level of understanding to his colleagues throughout the Pacific Northwest. By assembling a consortium of skilled arborist professionals, he is confident this aspiration will be realized through his efforts in establishing and developing Green Options. His dream is to offer that same level of expertise to all clients needing an Organic Tree Care Company in the Portland, Oregon Metro area.
