Great service so far on my old Trans Am. Technicians begin work on schedule and stay on the job until it is complete. Very much appreciate keeping the work on schedule.
Fair prices, and no problems with any of the work performed. Highly recommend.

I have a car that was being judged out of state and had a punch list of items that NEEDED to be taken care of. Waited for a week for first appointment. When I went to pickup the car many of the items were not taken care of. The basic response was we tried this and that but there still is an issue. Take it to the carb shop or take it to the tranny shop or take it to Les Schwab is their other response. Despite knowing my deadline they rushed the car out the door and when I needed a followup appointment they were very reluctant to bring it back in. I was told the spark plugs were nearly worn through under the top ignition shield. When I pulled it off the next day there was a powder residue but no chaffing whatsoever on the plug wires. Just an example of their hurry up attitude and not being complete in their work. Here say but quoted as saying they charge twice as much for their work because their customers will pay it. I paid my big bill but not going back.

New shop is fantastic! …but not as close to me as the old tiny shop which was almost around the corner. Steve and his small staff are my primary go– to resource for everything that is not DIY at home. Steve is very skilled,. intellegent and serious about quality work on complicated modern vehicles, customs new and vintage, even competetion cars. I trust Steve completely… he earned it over the past 8 years or so we have been doing business. Great dyno tunes too! He got me more HP than stock program and better MPG along with the power! …and better shifting points too! THANKS STEVE!!! Aw gee… too bad I can’t give Modern Classics more than 5 stars with the Unilocal system, so 5 will have to do.

I cannot say enough good things about Steve and Modern Classics.
I brought him a car that did not run right (aftermarket headers) and when I was done My CTS-​V was running perfect and putting out a ton of HP. Steve talked to the header manufacturer, went on CTS-​V forum, and put in a ton of time to fix my car. His bill was way too low and he just shrugged his shoulder and asked me to make sure and call him and let him know if I was happy with the fix.
I cannot imagine a better place to take my car.

Steve is good, this is where I take my old Firebird in for service. I have full confidence in their work. They can be a bit overzealous in the scope of the work and don’t communicate with me very well, but in the end my Firebird is better off than it was.
