History

Established in 1992.

In 1992, Rocco opened Rocco’s Service Center, Inc. after successfully operating an auto repair shop in Scarsdale for five years. Roc began his career in the industry as an auto mechanic at the age of fifteen. His vast knowledge and experience has been augmented by his hobbies: racing and restoration. Racing has given him a unique opportunity to experiment. Restoring cars has enabled him to be familiar with every aspect of car design and repair.

Currently, Roc is fine tuning several race cars for the current drag racing season. He has quite a few classic muscles cars in different stages of the restoration process.

Scam artist. He said I needed new break pads which was a total lie. I had them put in 2 months before.
I have heard from people in his industry that he over charges. Also he does a horrible job and I think he used inferior parts. Way too expensive do not go here. Also he is not very nice. He makes you feel like an idiot. Do not waste your time. There are much better guys along that street or in another town. Trust me do not go here unless you like wasting your money.
Those who say he is great guy are lying. He is not. His employees are just the same. Take what others say about them with a grain of salt. I would be very skeptical of the positive reviews.

Just bought a brand-​new car and wouldn’t you know it, I put a nice dent in the front right corner as I was trying to park around a huge chunk of ice (thanks to this g – damn Winter of 2014). Car was literally 2-​weeks old.
I looked online to see how to fix it and it seemed more involved than my skill or patience could tolerate. So I called up Rocco’s and he said he’d take a look and give me an estimate. It was a bit more than I thought it should be. But when I came back and saw the work – really, the fact that I couldn’t see any of the work, not one trace of the dent – I was very impressed. Worth it.
But frankly, I hope I don’t have to go back there again… Nothing against the service. My car’s too new!

I’ve been going to Rocco for years, through a bunch of different cars (some newer, some older) and have always been beyond happy with both the work & the customer service.
I know I will always get a straight answer & quality work — Rocco always stands behind everything he does (& then some) and consistently goes above & beyond. He’ll tell me when something is fine & doesn’t need attention just as often as I hear what’s wrong.
I’m a young woman (always a disadvantage in the auto repair industry) & I don’t know much about cars but I know when someone is honest & trustworthy. Rocco’s the best. i wouldn’t go anywhere else. He’s not often the cheapest but he’ll save you more $ in the long run with better quality parts & excellent labor & service.
PS My family has been going to him for 25+ years & all feel the same way!

The only reason this place gets one star is because the oil change was at least done properly.
This guy is a scam artist and a scumbag.
If you’re a young girl with a car and this place is in your area, beware. This guy will automatically assume you know nothing about cars and will try to get you to spend 100s on work that does not need to be done.
He said I needed new brake pads and rotors, reasonable enough but when I asked to see them. he so conveniently had already put the tires back on and instead showed me messed up rotors that were on the floor. I went to a family friend instead who could tell immediately that not only were my rotors and brake pads in fine working condition, but roccos had never even taken the tires off my car!
Don’t waste your money here. There is a Mavis up the street and they’ll actually show you your car and explain problems to you!

Rocco’s service gives you great service, everything is done right the first time, and on time appointments. Most of the time you can do a walk in for oil or inspection. He does great work, Ronnie his mechanic also does great work and they stand behind the parts they put in your car. Give them a try you will not regret it.

Rocco’s Service center delivers high quality work with excellent service. I have had basic maintenance as well as collision repair, and the work has been top notch. In addition, they are nice, local guys who look after you.
