Completely Sketchy. No Transparency (figuratively and literally).
I found this company through the Webasto website. My aftermarket sunroof wasn’t closing, which could be caused by many things (motor, fuses, faulty wiring). I just wanted someone familiar with those types of sunroofs to take a quick look and see what it might be.
1^st red flag: They said, «Can you come right now, because we had a few cancellations this morning but we don’t have any other appointments available until June.» There was a chance of rain in the afternoon, so I was looking for a place that could take me right away. I can accept a sales line, especially from a small business. They said that they would charge a $ 75 fee to check it out. That is high to just «check it out» but if at the very least they could close it, it’d be worth a shot.
2^nd red flag: They are located in an office park, which is definitely strange for a stereo place, but Tucker does things a bit differently, so it isn’t a huge deal. What was strange was going into the «Customer Entrance» to a very tiny waiting room with no other people. There were magazines and the customary coffee area (sans coffee) that most car places have. For a place that didn’t have any other appointments until June, it was strange that A) their waiting room was empty and B) that the empty waiting room coffee/​magazine area was such a mess (magazines thrown haphazardly and powdered creamer on its side). It would have taken about 3 minutes to straighten everything up
3^rd red flag: There’s a windowless door that you have to «ring the bell» to get someone to come out. The lady I spoke to on the phone opened and stood in the doorway and asked for my keys to give to the tech and said I could have a seat. I parked directly in front of the building so that I could see my car from the waiting room, so I offered up my keys. A few minutes later I saw her dart out of the «Employee Entrance» to my car. I went out and asked her where she was going with it. She said she had to take it around the building to have the technicians look at it. I asked to go with her, but she mumbled about not being able to go there for «insurance reasons.»
I’m gonna pause here: In all my years, I have NEVER heard of this. I have been to numerous car repair places and had aftermarket stereos put in — any car place I have ever been to has been extremely transparent and will point out what the issue might be. If they need to hide where they are taking your car, there is a reason.
They are most definitely not trustworthy. My guess is that they either overcharge for services or possibly (hopefully not) strip parts from cars.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
In sharp contrast, after leaving this place, I went to a Goodyear, just to possibly find a referral and had amazingly better customer service with transparency. I’m not a huge «reviewer,» but this was such a whacked experience that I wanted to document it. A younger me would have been totally taken advantage of by this place. I’m going to write a review of the other place, too.

I purchased my vehicle from Nissan in Union City Ga. They used this company to install my sunroof. When I got my vehicle back from them. Someone had taken my change and car charger out of my car. My headrest was missing. There were finger prints all over my car. There is some kind of sticky stuff on my windows and on my car. On top of that there are scratches and scuff marks on my car. After calling about the damages Shannon went on to explain to me they were there when the got the car from the dealership. Which is a BOLD FACE LIE. There is NO customer service. And I would NEVER recommend this place for ANY SERVICE.

I didn’t have an appointment, but my man Lee took the time out of his a held to make sure my navigation unit was up and running before I hit the road! He could have made me make another visit, but he went out his way to help me out on short notice.
