Tuckerton Pub

This is the worst place to go… overpriced food and drinks and the entire staff from management to servers are nasty and rude. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! I don’t even know how they’re still in business.

We eat here regularly. The strip steak with garlic shrimp is excellent and the price is reasonable. Their pasta and seafood specials are usually very good and large. I wish they had flounder franchise more often. I am not sure about the bar comments. We always eat at a table but the bar is always crowded on the weekend. Service is usually good but there is one waitress that is poor.

Came across this place after our poor experience (service related) at Stewarts down the street. Nice divey type place. Friendly server.
Rare burger with grilled onions for me. Fried shrimp for my son.
Burger was actually rare! Not bad. Shrimp were previously frozen but tasty.
We’ll stop back again.

I actually like the food at the Tuckerton Pub. What I don’t understand is why isn’t their menu online??? My wife and I like to order dinners and pick them up, and eat at home. This place could make so much more money if they just came into the present with their use of modern technology. I would even be willing to help them if they were interested. I just don’t understand.

I was there yesterday 6÷30÷15. My friend has a place in Mystic and we ride by when we go down there. We saw 2 dollar Coors lite happy hour specials so we decided to stop. When I paid I was over charged but didn’t think much about it. When the shift ended and a new bartender came on I asked for 2 more Coors and got up and went to the bathroom. When I came back my 5 dollar bill was gone off the bar as well as change I had on top of another dollar 75 cents. I asked I thought the beer was 2 bucks during happy hour and I was told they charge tax. I told the bar tender the tax isn’t 1.75 on 4 bucks and he told me he didn’t take my money. I told him I know you took it because the bill your other bar tender gave me a 5 has FU Dave written on it. When confronted was told he would give me my money back but I told him to keep it because if he is stealing from his customers «you probably need it more than me»
My friend and I got up and left with 2 full beers on the bar and I promised this bad review. I refuse to go to any place that steals from it’s customers. If you advertise a 2 dollar beer it better be 2 dollars. .I could care less about anything else from them I will not be going back.

My husband and I went to the Tuckerton pub, had the fish sandwich and fries, and clam chowder soup, was very good, till we got home we both had cramps and running to the bathroom. Will not be going back there.

Went in here after I read how bad it was, thought I’d give it a try. Well i didn’t think it was bad as the previous reviewer said. I had one of their specials which I forget what it was called but it was chicken, peppers, onions and potatoes in a sauce. I thought it was pretty good, had a little kick to it. in the sauce. I also got the Macaroni and cheese which were the big size noodles and the cheese sauce was good and creamy. I did find the wait staff to be a little slow and didn’t come around often to ask if you needed anything but I would give it another try.

Good solid diner/​pub on Route 9 just north of Tuckerton. Though i only got wings and zucchini strips, they were both good. Nice sized place, looks like it’s been recently rennovated. The beer selections are ok, nothing great, but more than the standard budmillercoors, but hey, remember you’re in the woodlands of southern Ocean County…

Yet another abomination of Culinary services in Southern Ocean County. Nice sized place. Service was bad. Food is even worse. It shares a space with a skelly laundromat for Gods sake! As the old adage goes, If you don’t have anything good to say then don’t say anything at all-​So on that note… I’m done

The worst service customer service ever from bartender jess. My hamburger was rotten and I took two bites out of it and she refused to take it off bill. Then used profanity… said get them the #$*@ out of here. I could write more but I won’t waste more time on this experience.
