My husband and I rented a car for our employee whose car broke down this past Saturday. The only reason AP Auto was chosen was because they were located close to the auto repair shop. The car was fixed the next day, on Sunday. However, since AP Auto was not open on Sunday, nor was there a parking lot to leave the car, it was parked and remained at the repair facility(unused) until it could be returned on Monday. On Monday, upon returning the car and reviewing the return receipt, our employee saw that the return date on the receipt was incorrect and asked that it be fixed. She was told by the owner and his wife(Al & Elly) they would not change it and that«It did not matter» and they subsequently were both very rude to her. She was upset about how horribly she was treated and called me. So I called and Elly was also rude to me. I did ask if the return details could be corrected and if a credit was possible since the car was only used a half day and returned to them almost 2 days early. I was told a refund was not possible – and I accept that. HOWEVER, NOTGETTING A REFUNDISNOTTHEREASONWHY I’M WRITING A NEGATIVEREVIEW. The owner is INCORRECT in stating I «demanded» a refund. I asked if it was possible before I was abruptly told it was«my problem not hers!» I am mostly upset that the store owner was harsh and rude to a customer(my employee and myself) when asked if the return date/time could be fixed to reflect the correct date and time. The reason we wanted the receipt fixed was because having an incorrect return date/time on the receipt makes my employee(the renter) and me/my husband(the one’s paying the bill) liable for any damage to the car after it was officially returned. It is unacceptable for any business to falsely misrepresent information on a receipt and react rudely to the customer when asked to fix it. In hindsight, it would have been better for us, to take our business to a rental car company that was located much further away and even cost more, to ensure the rental details were accurate, there would not be a potential liability issue, and most importantly that we would be treated nicely. Lastly after posting this review the owner is now threatening to go after me for writing this review instead of trying to resolve the issue(i.e. fix the receipt) and/or apologize for the mean treatment. I do have a copy of the incorrect receipt and testimony from our employee on how she was treated. You can see in the attached photo how the receipts indicates the rental car was returned tomorrow at 6÷7÷20164:13:58PM(instead of the correct date/time of this morning 6÷6÷2016 at 9:00AM).

I decided to upgrade my car and returned to APS after having bought my first car from them. They were just as personable and helpful as the first time. I walked in with my previous car and out with the new one. Supper easy! The car is flawless :)

I have known Al for almost 20 years. I have purchased many cars and trucks from him and have always had a great experience. If you are in the market for a late model vehicle, AP’S is the place to go. Al will make sure you get a great price on a great vehicle.

Best car buying experience I’ve had. Al not only was able to work with us on pricing, but buffed out scratches on our other car for free, took care for taking the car for emissions, and had the car delivered to our house. I’ve been looking for a while and could not find a better deal and an easier person to work with. It was a real pleasure doing business with A.P.‘s Auto. I would have never thought of buying a car from a smaller dealership like this had it not been for the fact that A.P.‘s is a certified USAA dealership.

I wish there wasn’t even an option to give this place one star. This is an awful place and the owner is even more terrible. My mother bought a car from here, my battery died a few weeks later and they refused to buy me a new one because«he didn’t make enough commission off of my sale». So if I bought a more expensive car, then you value your customers. He even told me he made 2000 dollars off of our car. I was trying to ask him questions to clarify why he didn’t value his customers enough to replace a simple battery he kicked me off the premises and refused to give her any service in till i left. Mind you i was her ride there after they refused to give her a tow there and told me to find her own way to their shop.(WITH A DEADBATTERY) in 110 weather had to walk off. He told me my interior lights take 10 seconds to shut off after locking my door and that’s why my battery is dead.(The most idiotic thing I’ve ever heard). He paid no mind to the questions we asked or that we were unhappy customers all he cared about was making his money. Very unhappy customers and i recommend NEVER giving this business your money. If only she could return my car so he didn’t make anything

Whatever you do do NOT give this business money to hold a vehicle. There was no contract and now he won’t give our money back. Claims to be an upstanding company. I don’t agree. he’s out to take advantage of anyone he can. Be careful!
