Around the Valley Moving

AVOID — these guys went to the wrong address and proceeded to turn a half day move into a full day. I literally moved 10 minutes away. (They work hourly, surprise!) I asked for some money back and was given a 10% discount, nowhere near what it should have been. They are changing their name to Across the Valley Moving. Whatever the name is, find another mover!

I recently used Around the Valley Movers when I moved from Tucson to Phoenix. I am very pleased with this service. I initially spoke with the owner, Roger, to get a quote. He came out to my home for an estimate which turned out to be the bill amount.
Dan and Max were my movers and they were excellent! They arrived at the pre-​arranged time and were professional and efficient throughout the entire move. They took extra care to wrap my furniture and belongings for protection. They wasted no time in loading and unloading the truck. They actually had a 20 minute head start in traveling to my new home but I beat them there by a few minutes. This leads me to believe they drove cautiously and within the speed limits. The whole process took just 4 hours! Loaded, 100 mile trip and unloaded!
Very impressive and I would definitely use this service again and highly recommend to anyone. Thank you

My family has used Around the Valley Moving three times in a year! First they moved my grandma and were quick and efficient. they also showed their professionalism when they accidently broke a mirror (accidents happen even to the best of us). They said they could replace the mirror, pay for a new one, or replace the glass. since it was an old mirror we chose to replace the glass and they did in a timely professioanl fashion. Sometimes a company’s true integrity is revealed in the way the own up to mistakes, and Around the Valley recitified the situation beyond our expectations. They also moved another family member and were great about the fact that there were multiple stops needed. Just this weekend they moved me and my stuff from two apartments into one house. They were professional, curteous, and good tempered (no grumpies). They even took some unwated bulky items to Goodwill. They are great! No hesitation in recommending them!

This family owned company provides top quality moving services, with a special emphasis on people moving into assisted living. Our experience with them was excellent: they arrived on time, got everything loaded quickly and safely, and were equally rapid during the unload.
I worked with Tony, the son, and he took special care to make sure everything was moved to our satisfaction, and unlike many other movers, he helped with getting appliances, etc. plugged in and working. They also come back after a week or so to move anything that wasn’t properly placed the first time. Their rate is $ 95 an hour, but they waste no time. They explain all the contractual terms prior to moving, and ask you to verify that everything is OK prior to leaving.
They accept cash, check or credit card, although they charge a 3% surcharge for credit card payments.
Highly recommended!
