60% of the time I go here, there is a note on the door that everyone is gone for lunch or their doors are locked because they are «currently in airbrush». Very inconsistent and unreliable. If you expect to tan without sitting outside waiting for 20 minutes, I would not recommend.

BE AWARE: the hours posted on Unilocal are not the real hours! This is so misleading to customers, and I am super annoyed by this. I would not have joined had I known this. Very disappointed, it’s a decent salon, nothing special, but decent.
And FYI their website doesn’t work either.

I’ve only been here twice. The first time, I had a pretty good experience. The reason I am giving three stars is because I bought a spray tan package 2 for 29 or something. I didn’t realize that there was an expiration date attached. Online, I couldn’t find anything that said this under terms and conditions. I wish they would have called me and told me when it was about to expire. I’m sad that I wasted that bit of money. Other than that, no complaints.

Wonderful place! They paid attention to detail and had great customer service going above and beyond! I will definitely recommend this place!

I love this tanning salon. I have been tanning for many years at many different salons, and I used to work in one as well, so I have seen a wide range of what’s out there in the market. This place is by far the best. The salon is always very clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. They provide you with a loaner pair of disinfected tanning goggles, so you don’t have to worry about remembering to bring your own. I use the basic tanning beds, which are really nice because they all have face tanners that you have the option to turn off if you want to. There is also a great selection of tanning lotions and bronzers in both bottles and single use packets. Their prices and specials are really great too, especially for the high quality of the salon, products and staff. I really appreciate having such a wonderful tanning salon so close to my neighborhood.

definitely one of the nicest salons in town… GREAT choice in bed levels plus mystic and airbrush spray tans. they have all toiletry needs available complimentary, from deodorant and baby wipes to contact solution and hair ties… staff is super friendly too, they answer all questions without making you feel the hard sell…

Great experience! The girls are sweet and knowledgeable. Only used the Mystic and airbrush. For my skin type (really pale) the Mystic was all I really needed. When I purchased sessions in advance and then found out I was moving out of state earlier than planned, they were really accommodating! I would highly recommend this place for clueless sunless people like me!

The absolute best tanning salon! The customer service is wonderful with the owner knowing you by name and the front desk ladies greeting you before and after you tan to ask you how it went and if you have any questions don’t be afraid to ask any questions as they are very informative and will help you achieve your best tan ever. Additionally the quality of the beds is great never any bad bulbs and always being greeted by a fresh and clean room, with a peppermint candy on your towel. There is no better place to tan than Beach Baby Tan Club!

I came here while on vacation on Tucson. I planned on doing the mystic but started talking to the owner and she offered to do a custom airbrush on me for the same price. Boy am I glad she did. She took so much tilt and effort contouring and layering. It looks beyond amazing!!! She was super sweet and explained each step of the process. I felt very comfortable. This is by far the best airbrush tan I have ever received. Thank you thank you thank you. I’ll be back when I return to Tucson in March

I am not originally from this area, in fact I moved from NY almost two years ago. I am very picky on where I like to tan in Tucson, because I have had some very «not so nice» experiences (ie. finding out I have to clean my own bed AFTER I tanned). Needless to say I really wasn’t impressed, so I decided to Unilocal,to see what my other options were. I saw this salon and it literally is right down the street, I figured I would check it out because I usually inspect before I buy.
WOW, was I truly impressed! Hands down the best salon I have been to in this city!
They are very clean and are a hallmark for what a true salon should be. The staff and owner are very friendly and caring to their customers; they care about the service they give, and are VERY knowledgeable. They even ask you when you leave «how did everything go for you» and ask you «how was the tanning experience last time.» No salon staff that I have been to in Tucson has done that, in fact I was lucky if I got a goodbye.
I will never go anywhere else to tan, no matter what the prices are or coupons other facilities give out! I have found my salon!
P. S. I have never written a review for any other company before. In fact I had to make a Unilocal account to do this. That just tells you how impressed I was!

I came in here for a spray-​on tan before a wedding. I came here as it was the only «booth» spray tan (as opposed to the person-​applied) I could find on the NE side of town.
It’s located in the Whole Foods shopping center, on the east side of the complex. Shop is small but it’s clean, attractive, and smells nice.
Amanda at the desk helped me out – it was a very busy day, and she was the manifestation of grace under pressure. She apologies for the delay, and couldn’t have been nicer. I took the introductory «Two sprays for $ 29» deal… not bad when you see one is $ 25 when bought alone.
I’ll definitely be back, especially if everyone has as great of customer service has as Amanda!

Really doesn’t get any better than this. Very clean facility, friendly staff and reasonable prices no need to look anywhere else. I will be returning with a friend!

This place is fabulous! VERY CLEAN! You don’t have to clean your tanning bed! It’s cleaned for you and they provide you clean goggles for you in each bed each time! The hours are great too!

Yes, I go tanning and YES I know I live in Arizona. But how can you NOT see the benefits of tanning indoors over outside every once in a while?
Beach Baby Tan Club is one of the absolute best tanning salons I have ever been to in my 10 years of tanning. The girls up front are extremely attentive and friendly, and always have great recommendations for products. These girls obviously are very familiar with and knowledgeable on their products, and I have never been disappointed with a product they have recommended to me.
This salon is always clean and neat — and very well-​priced!

Very inexpensive. Everywhere else seemed to be double than what they were wanting. The service was beyond amazing and their facilities were exceptional. I’m not going anywhere else while living in Tucson!

The difference between a mediocre tanning salon and a stellar one? Great customer service. I was on the hunt for a Mystic Spray Tan (if you’ve never had one… do it!), and this club was offering a great deal for new customers at 2 Mystic Tans for around $ 24 dollars. The girl not only answered all my questions over the phone, but when you go in for the first time they have you watch a mini-​video describing the whole Mystic Tan process and then you can ask all the questions you like. Big fluffy towles to blot off with afterwards were just the icing on the cake. They also having tanning bed available, but if you are trying to stave off the wrinkles and skin cancer, definitely give the Mystic a try.
Like Melissa said, they do offer a great military/​police/​fire discount… I will definitely be back!

Being a first-​time tanner, I really wanted to do my research before deciding on a tanning salon. I only found one review of Beach Baby on Unilocal,but found several elsewhere online, and every reviewer gave this place ⁵⁄₅. Now I know why. The girl was so sweet, patient and helpful when I first went in… I called in advance to ask questions before coming in and she gave me her full attention rather than acting like I was wasting her time. When I went in, the girl explained everything to me and helped me to decide on what was best for what I was looking for without being pushy. If you don’t have a lotion, don’t worry – they have a zillion here for you to choose from, anywhere from the $ 30-​$ 100 range for bottles and they also have one time use packets if you want to try different lotions before settling on one. Most retail locations would try to push the most expensive products, but not here. They are there to help you, not squeeze every last dime out of your pocketbook. There are several people working at the establishment, but after going there less than a week, they all remembered my name! Awesome customer service, clean rooms and beds. There is a stand-​up unit as well as level 1 – 3 beds. They give you a towel and sanitized goggles to use every time you tan, or you can bring your own towel and buy goggles there if you so desire. There are also radios in every room so you have something to listen to while you are tanning.

Excellent customer service, prices and services! I was traveling in Tucson and found this salon randomly on google. I was extremely pleased. They offer a free first time tan and 10% discount to military/​police/​fire. I was pleased with the tanning beds as well as the UV free sunless tan options offered. The girl at the counter was SO friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend!
