Ladies run, don’t walk away from this counselor. She takes the side of the male, and will disclose what you have said to her in confidence. She will suggest (in a demanding way) that you do it her way or you lose. GET YOUR OWN COUNSELOR, DO NOT DO COUPLES COUNSELING WITH HER. She is still wearing the low cut shirts and makes silly excuses about wearing them. She makes judgments about your life after only a couple sessions. She will tell your significant other things to put him in the drivers seat, no matter how bad your male counterpart is behaving. She likes to paint the woman as the one who has too much of an imagination or too much time on her hands no matter how much proof you have.
If you are crying because your significant other is treating you like a door mat, her answer is to «check you in», not to correct his behavior because she easily succumbs to the charms of lying cheating men. She has no man in her life. Her behavior indicates why she isn’t married. I don’t know how anyone could put up with her.
Counseling with her was a total waste of money. OB/​GYN doctor thought her advice was bad, gave me some suggestions of «professionals» down by the University. It was a wonderful change to not have someone jumping to conclusions and undermining the situation by telling my significant other things I said in confidence. Glad I moved on!
