BTO Self Serve Yogurt

Just keep the roasted Marshmallow a day this will be my favorite. Oh bring back white mini chocolate and almond slices

Not only was the yogurt delicious, but the owners were just as sweet. We called before going to ask when they close and the owner offered to stay open if we couldn’t make it on time. Also, he had his young son with him who was clearly just as hard of a worker as his father is. What a nice, family place!

I like having BTO so close by. Their flavors change fairly often so you get a good vareity. There are a lot of different options, including dairy-​free or sugar free and some flavors are both. You can taste a sample of any or all flavors before you commit. I have had 10 different flavors and only one I didn’t care much for. They have a lot of toppings as well. They have a kiddie cup (ask for it) that is a flat price rather than the by-​ounce price. They do punch cards and also support the local schools with fundraisers and free kiddie cup coupons for rewards.
The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The store has been very clean every time I have been in.

I absolutely love BTO Rita Ranch. I have been going there on a consistent basis ever since they opened, and they still surpass my expectations. From the multiple options of frozen yogurt (that is constantly changing), the endless toppings, free wifi, tv for all the big games, to the amazing customer service, what more could you ask for! Do you self a favor and try this place out, you won’t regret it and you’ll be wanting more the moment you leave.

Their website is not very informative. So I pulled up their info on Unilocal to see what their hours were.

Drove over at 9:15pm & they were lights out closed on a Saturday night… Good thing their competitors were open less than a mile away…

BEST PLACE EVER!!! Mile (the owner) is a gem. A very stand up guy and us always right there to help out any school function or family in need. I do my best to keep him in business. You should too!

I live and work in the Vail community and have been DELIGHTED to partake in the yumminess that is BTO! Each of the soft serve options I have tried is delicious. I try to minimize my sugar intake and last night had the fabulous salted caramel no sugar added froyo. Wow, what a sweet and tasty option for those of us watching our sugar and calories. I also got to speak with Mike the owner who is just about the friendliest guy you’ll ever meet. He contributes generously to the Vail School District and kept the shop open late to accommodate a customer who showed up right at 9:00. I always love supporting locally owned businesses and it’s a huge bonus that BTO has a myriad of scrumptious options to choose from. THANKS MIKE!!!

Their flavors definitely sound delicious, but the flavors leave a lot to desire compared to other frozen yogurt places I have been too. This type of frozen yogurt is ideal for the true yogurt lover. Outside of frozen yogurt, I don’t eat the grocery store yogurts. Folks who do, will probably love this place. I disliked it so much that I threw it out, but am still give it more than one star because it could just be my expectations were more towards a Tutti Frutti type yogurt than what they have.

The yogurt tastes so weird here. The flavors sound so yummy but after tasting them… it’s so fake and just ruins it. I have been dying for a froyo place out here but I am still driving into town for better froyo. Also, the people here usually seem short and somewhat rude. Haven’t ever really had top notch service. Disappointing.

The yogurt is not that great but they are close to my house and they have good toppings. The yogurt has a weird fake taste to it. Service is good.

I am not a big fan of BTO, but my family love it. The yogurt has a funny after taste to me compared to other brands. They do have a lot of different yogurt flavors as well as plenty of toppings. The people working there are great and so is the owner.

Frozen Yogurt is a bit of an abomination in my book, but that’s not to say it can’t be edible or even satisfying. My issue is that it’s a food that tries it’s hardest to be a substitute for ice cream and that’s nothing more than classic tomfoolery on frozen yogurt’s part.
Also, I despise the term «FroYo». Nothing against any of you personally who decide to use it, but it’s just one of those terms that drives be absolutely bonkers. But I guess that’s besides the point, really.
BTO gives a really good product, but it’s very overpriced. That’s my only real gripe. The amount of choices you have is very appealing. They have a laundry-​list of yogurt flavors ranging from vanilla to green tea and supply both dairy and non-​dairy options. The toppings are more than acceptable as well. By the conclusion of your journey inside BTO, you get a really strong product.
The price is just off-​putting. Perhaps that’s not the fault of the owner and this is standard for frozen yogurt establishments, but I still don’t find the cost to justify the amount of yogurt you get. Also, the couple of times I purchased frozen yogurt from this specific BTO, the machines were a bit messy and the topping station was in disarray.
The customer service was top-​notch, though. The people behind the counter were both helpful and friendly. For that reason, as well as the product, I would return here… but only on pay day.

I’ve been here two times and each of those visits I didn’t eat my yogurt. I thought the taste on my first visit was imitation and no natural flavors from the oreos or peanut butter. Same thing on my second visit. I won’t be back to find out if the weird taste ever goes away.

Its a self serve yogurt place… its clean and the flavors are good. I think they just opened the weekend we went, which I was excited about bc it is right near our house. We’ll definitely be back! Clean, good flavors, fresh toppings! Ohh the toasted marsh mellow vegan flavor is wicked good if you want to try something out of the box.

Yummy flavors (Nutella and strawberry cheesecake were a couple of favorites!), fresh toppings, and very helpful staff! We will be back!

I’m so excited that there is a fro-​yo place on my side of town now! My fiancé is a bit bummed because now I’m making him drive to Rita Ranch to get a sweet treat after dinner instead of the dairy queen around the corner from our house… but he can deal :) The staff here has been great the two times I’ve been there. Very quick to help out with samples! They have lots of yogurt flavors and I tried a few that were great (namely the salted caramel and toasted marshmallow) but I always end up getting the plain tart which is my favorite. The have a lot of toppings to choose from but I think they need to make more space for them because there isn’t enough containers in the topping bar for them all! My only suggestion is to add shredded coconut and marshmallows (they are my personal favorites). I do love that they have a lot of fresh fruit options though. delish! I will definitely become a regular here!

FroYo in Rita Ranch, my day is made!
After wearing out the pups at the dog park I was craving something cold and sweet and couldn’t wait to hit up Rita’s latest addition. Located in the Safeway shopping center, this place is going to be dangerous for my weight as it’s between my favorite takeout place, grocery store and dog groomer. Fortunately they have non-​dairy, as well as no sugar added options!
They were having a Grand Opening deal with 45 cents per ounce today, but I’m not sure when it’s ending. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for more deals as well as their available flavors!
I had the toasted marshmallow and salted caramel yogurt today and both were super delicious! I couldn’t believe the marshmallow was non-​dairy with how creamy it was. I could barely decide with all the topping choices so I got a little of everything. They have everything from your standard oreo and candy toppings to fresh fruit and granola and even (my favorite) boba balls for that burst of flavor!
The staff is very friendly and attentive. Feel free to ask for samples, they are more than willing to offer you anything you’d like to try. Plus, the owner, Mike, is a local and very active in the community. He’s interested in starting to host fundraisers for local organizations and was talking to a couple people about getting something started.
