History

Established in 1972.

Design Photography actually started when I was 10 years old. My family gave me a nice 35 mm camera for Christmas. It was a Argus C3. Ever since I have pursued a career in photography creating portraits that make people cry with emotion. What else really captures Memories For A Lifetime? It portraits of your family! I have been blessed to capture many families, mostly in Tucson, Az, for that special time when all are together.

Portraits are much more than just pushing a button. Here’s a little bit of what it takes to create a portrait that you will be proud to hang on in your living room. Clothing — wear something that is comfortable, long sleeves and darker solid colors. Then the attention will go to the faces and not the clothing. After all we are talking about a portrait. Bob Hitchcock born in Chicago and destined to be a professional photographer in Tucson, Az. Started Design Photography in 1972 and has created «Memories For A Lifetime» ever since. Sailing, rebuilding old motorcycles and cars is also some of Bob’s other passions.
