Diablo Burger

Absolutely superb. Night service is faster than day service, but the burgers are amazing. Great local food served in a fun environment!

Okay let me start out by saying that all of their ingredients are organic, and locally-​sourced. Their beef is grass-​fed, so a little on the leaner side, but perfect when cooked to their recommendation of medium-​rare. The burgers, fries, and sauces are all amazing. I usually order The Blake, while my partner orders The Wrigley Field. But I never hesitate to try the specials of the week! They always end up surprising me, and being something I crave. The staff has always been friendly, and I always enjoy my time there. I recently recommended this place to a friend, and he also had nothing but good things to say about this restaurant.

Best burger I have ever had. Start with grass fed beef with a crispy homemade English muffin. Then there are many choice for add ons. I chose the Marilyn with bacon, cheddar, pickles and their special DB sauce. Delicious. Burger was cooked perfectly and generous in size.
Fries were Great too. Loved dipping them in the sauces. Will definitely be back. Wish they were a national chain!

Went in for the first time tonight and it was amazing. Great service and even better food!

This place has great burgers and all of their beef has been free rang fed. I really enjoyed their fries and sauce as well.
There is also a great selection of beers on tap and awesome IPA’s.

Great concept and great service! My med rare burger had no flavor. The special sauce, sharp cheddar and raw onion didn’t taste like anything either. I wanted to like it, left very disappointed for spending 45 dollars for 3 burgers no drinks. There db frites are twice fried but don’t look or taste like Belgium fries. My sister is no longer allowed to suggest restaurants to me, she agreed it tasted better the last time she came.

Unreal burger! I was in town for work over the weekend and needed a burger fix, and boy did I get one! I had the burger that is named after some one, it was so amazing that I don’t even remember what was on it. Blackening spice, guacamole, bacon, cheese, and I added an over easy egg and had the green chili mayo for my fries… It was dirty! And when I say dirty, I mean dirty like you’re 19 years old and hooking up with your buddies super hot mom dirty! Boom city Bitches! I f*cken crushed it!

New at this Unilocal mode but wanted to express my dissatisfaction eating at Diablo Burger. It was recommended and my party was especially looking forward to a burger. First off, the manager seemed to have a group he knew at the bar so no interest in us. We sat ourselves down and the beer selection was poor. The burger was average at best and I didn’t finish mine. I spent quite a bit of money for a hamburger place but again, no thank you from management AND the place was almost empty. Didn’t feel wanted, price a bit high and burger average so will not spam where I think the burgers are better but I for one will never go back.

Went there on Monday November 2, around 7 pm. Great feel to the atmosphere it was very open and I enjoyed the décor to the place. Not at all a confusing menu either. We had a young blonde waitress (didn’t catch her name). She was very friendly, patient and was very knowledgable of the food and the menu especially since it was our first time there.
We did have a little mishap with one our dishes but they took care of it very quickly and without hesitation. The burgers were delicious, lean yet juicy. The fries were awesome and seasoned wonderfully.
Overall the experience was great would definitely go back again, probably soon.

I actually wasn’t a huge fan of the burger, but everything I was served was fresh and high quality. The meat has excellent flavor (once you salt it that is), was cooked perfectly, and the toppings were generous. The staff is great too.
The only problem is, I like more fat in my burger meat. A nice ⁸⁰⁄₂₀ patty, or even ⁸⁵⁄₁₅ and I’d go five stars. A little seasoning would help too. You can’t get the same flavor with a salt shaker at the table as you can with a sprinkle of good sea salt before it hits the grill.

Wonderful dainty restaurant to have lunch. The open windows have the restaurant looking bigger than it is, and suits the theme of the restaurant. They have GF burgers with buns, french fries, and fried okra that are fantastic for silly yackers. They herbs they put on the fries make ketchup not needed. Waitresses are knowledgeable about their food and drinks. The only downside is parking. We got lucky on first visit with spot across from restaurant but second visit, we found parking a few blocks away. Its worth it though, and area is nice to browse shops nearby.

A very tasty burger! The meat tastes great and the toppings are wonderful and they taste fresh. The fries are awesome. The condiment selection is nice too.

Over the past couple of weeks my girlfriend and I had been talking about trying Diablo Burger but failed to until the other night. When we walked in the restaurant it is unclear to either wait to be seated or to seat yourselves as we saw both happening.
When it comes to the menu, the drinks were very limited to about 4 beers and maybe a couple more wines. The beer we ordered was the Hefe and it was smooth and complimented our meal well. We ordered the Wrigley Field & Señor Smoke burgers. When it comes to the burgers we agreed that the sauces on the burger were better than the burger themselves but overall it was a slightly above average burger and the fries were subpar at best.
Overall, It’s worth a try but it isn’t a place where you’ll be craving for another.

Good atmosphere, awesome location, clean place, nice concept, solid customer service. Fries, drinks, etc all yummy and worthy.
But the burgers were absolutely «average» and bland. You’d think that such an expensive burger at a place that has «burger» in it’s name would have worthy burgers. The muffin buns and presentation were all on-​target. The burgers (we had three different burgers) were all strike-​outs, especially at such a price.
I’ve paid as much or less for quality hamburgers at Zinburger, Sullivans, and other reputable establishments.

Diablo Burger es un restaurant que se enfoca en hamburguesas y en adquirir sus ingredientes a no mas de 250 millas del establecimiento definiendo al lugar como «Local». Eso me gusta mucho y es un buen concepto para apoyar la economia de aquellos que estan cerca de nosotros.
Sin embargo Diablo Burger me dejo esperando mas. Para empezar las hamburguesas en el menu parecian suculaentas y deliciosas. Al recibir la hamburguesa podia oler las especias que fueron utilizadas en su elaboracion. Pedí una hamburguesa «Señor Smoke» la cual viene con cebollas asadas con chile en polvo, pero el chile en polvo es demasiado y se queda pegado en las cebollas. Esto hace que la hamburguesa sepa un poco mas seca de lo que en realidad es. Otra cosa mas es que no soy un fan de hamburguesas «gordas» o gruesas. Es casi imposible dar una mordida en la hamburguesa completa y terminas manchandote o tirando la mitad de los condimentos.
Algo que en verdad hacen muy bien en Diablo Burger son las papas fritas. Las especias que utilizan para ellas son deliciosas y concuerdo con otras reseñas en las que dicen que no pueden parar de comerlas.
Le daria otra oportunidad a Diablo Burger para ver si algun otra hamburguesa que tienen es mejor pero por lo pronto no siento que sean de los mejores restaurantes con hamburguesas en Tucson.

This was our second time at the heavenly Diablo Burger. Once again, both the food and the service rocketed us straight into seventh heaven! The staff was attentive and efficient. My husband ordered the cheech and I had the db burger. The reason I chose the db burger was because I love egg in my burger. Wow, the db burger was heaven-​sent! My husband also had nothing but praises for his burger. We shall return in the very near future!

Grass-​fed beef burgers, locally sourced ingredients, and a decent craft beer menu. If you love burgers and quality ingredients, look no further than Diablo. While the burgers are on the pricier side and take anywhere from 15 – 25 min to prepare (in my experience coming here), the quality of the product is well worth it. It’s worth noting this is more of a gourmet burger experience. Don’t expect it to be quick, and don’t expect it to be cheap, but do expect an incredibly well-​crafted burger with consciously sourced ingredients. Also, the location can’t be beat, and the street-​facing windows make for great people watching along Congress.
Happy to see these guys doing so well in the heart of downtown, and hoping to see them continue with their success!

Beer & excellent burgers! The atmosphere is a little cramped but if you grab a spot looking out toward congress it’s perfect! The veggie burger was absolutely delicious. The kid was prepared just like the adult and my don loved it! The fries were super yummy!

FINALLY! You ask for a medium rare burger. .. . and you get one! You ask for a burger that is not dripping with fat. .. . and you get one! You ask for really fresh local beef. .. . and you get it! You ask for a decent sized big fat burger. .. and you get it! You ask for a bun that doesn’t fall apart the minute you pick it up. .. . and you get one! You ask for a wide variety of toppings to suit your taste and mood. .. and you get them! You ask for one of the most delicious burgers you’ve ever tasted. .. and, without a doubt, you got it! You will be licking the last little bit off your finger-​tips as you settle back totally satisfied.

I really like Diablo. I went there last Saturday and found that their veggie burger and french fries are spot on! Crispy, tasty, full of good texture. Fast and friendly service. Homemade ketchup and Poblano hot sauce (my favorite) can be seen in the condiment basket.
… And now for the cons. The prices are kind of high for a single meal. I also think that the burger-​to-​fries ratio is disproportionate. The burger is so small that it fits on toasted english muffins, but the basket of fries on which it rests can feed 3 – 4 people (maybe that’s why they have communal seating.) Kind of overwhelming! I’ll only take off one star because it was super tasty, afterall :)
I would come here with a large group next time to share the fries.

My husband and I spent $ 50 here for two burgers and two drinks. They have some great local beers on tap so I was happy (enjoying a XOXO coffee stout) but unfortunately they did not have my hubby’s drink of choice, diet coke. Only natural beverages here. The burgers were very tasty but a tad overpriced. Mine was too rare (they do medium rare by default but I asked for medium well). They came with fries and a house made katsup but I didn’t think either of those were that great. I really liked the fact that you could get some unusual toppings. First time I have ever had roasted beets on my burger. I have to say, it was pretty good.
The service and atmosphere were great, too. The best part about the experience was the fact that we sat at a bar type counter that faced out to the street. They had a big glass window that was opened up and so it was nice to enjoy the night air and do some people watching. This place is directly across from Club Congress so needless to say we had some entertainment. I would come here again just for that experience.
