History
Established in 2013.
Chef Owner Cecilia Arosemena started Dish for Dosha after obtaining a life threatening diagnosis, and choosing to heal herself naturally.
Cecilia graduated from the Tucson Art Institute as a Culinarian in 2012, and traveled through China with Master Chef Bill Sy, where she learned more about the relationship between Eastern cooking and healing through food.
During her formal training in 2012 at the culinary school, she also immersed herself in the teachings of natural healing and Ayurveda at the Chopra center for Well-Being in Carlsbad, CA.
By the time 2013 and a diagnosis hit, she was prepared with the tools to try and heal herself naturally.
Not only did Cecilia survive her liver tumor afterall, with good nutrition and a surgery, but she also managed to open an Ayurvedic juicing company, where she intended to help others heal with wholesome foods, as she had done for her body.
Today, Dish for Dosha products are available at the YWCA Café, Renee’s Organic Oven, Farmers Markets

Business Owner
Chef Owner Cecilia Arosemena started Dish for Dosha after finding out that she had a large liver tumor in 2013. She began juicing daily for herself, in order to strengthen her own body, so that she could heal in order to continue raising her son and finish culinary school.
From this, she learned that there were other people who would also like to heal naturally, so she released the juice company in order to cater to all those in Tucson who would like to heal through food, in an easy, affordable, and convenient way.
Since she started Dish for Dosha, she has not only healed herself and survived, but she is now helping others do the same.
She takes great pride and care of each person she helps, for she recognizes the full spectrum of emotions and battles that may come in a healing journey. She is understanding and compassionate to each of her «new friends» as she calls her loyal client base.
