I was told in 2008 by my dentist that I had gum disease. Unfortunately, I needed surgery due to not flossing enough. The main issue was with my wisdom teeth. I was told to get them pulled– all 4.
When the surgeon looked at the x-​rays, he told me their would be a chance that the extraction of the teeth could effect the nerves in my face that make me smile. The other option was to shave the gum line down enough to help me clean those teeth better. I decided my smile was not worth risking. I went with option 2.
I am proud to say after 3 years after the surgery, I have had no issues. The cost for upper and bottom teeth grafting the gums and teeth cost me $ 2400. Money well spent and Dr. Don was truly fantastic. I was comfortable during the surgery and everything healed up quickly. I was not in any pain after the surgery either.
