Love the grinder and ranch fries! The customer service is generally good and they rarely screw up the order The pretzels are doughy and yummy but the cookie taste store bought. The thing I like the most about Eggees is the coupon book they sell. The profits go to local charities. Good job Eggees good job!

I am a ritas water ice fan i grew up with it and when i tried an eegees ice whatever u call it i thought it was a crappier version of that in my mind it still is but anyways i like the food its decent but the price and variety turns me away pretty much everything on their menu i can get somewhere else but better

An awesome Tucson original! The signature ‘Eegees’ slush is just wonderful and makes a Slurpee taste like water by comparison. I love how they have their regular flavors, then a flavor of the month, and there are about 15 flavors available for party packs. Now for their grinders. When I go to Subway, I try to get my sandwich to taste like the Eegees grinder, and it’s never quite there! Special Italian dressing? Special peppercinis? Special bread? Idk, but it’s GOOD! ! I also love the cheese pretzel. Mmmmmm! It’s morish! When you get any of several kinds of combos, you also get a discount. Oh ya, they also have fantastic cookies, and a flavor of the month. This time I got butterscotch blast, and last time I was in town I got pumpkin pie cookies. Mmmmmm! Every time I visit Tucson, Eegees is on my list of places to stop! The only reason I only gave it 4 stars is that the dinning room is tired and doesn’t look super clean. I also wasn’t impressed that they have a University of Arizona support sign, but it is right over the trash and on the way to the bathroom. But the food is awesome! I’ll be back!

Always consistant, food is average but hey I go there for the Eegees fizz dont you? I’d give this AZ relic 5 stars if they would just grind those lemon rinds up better, after all these years u’d think they would figure out that no matter the size of the straw you still get pieces stuck it ur straw. And nobody finds that enjoyable. PLEASEGRINDTHOSERINDSUPBETTER! Cuz I love your drinks!

Tina at this location is AMAZING! She always checks orders to make sure they are accurate. She’s been at Eegees for several years and remembers her regulars. Somebody needs to give her a raise!

The vegetarian sandwich could use some improvement, but it’s a better option than eating the yoga mat bread at Subway. Hey I have an idea! Ditch the food coloring, high fructose syrup, and whatever other nonesense you put in the«eegee» slushy things, and I may have one more thing on the menu that I would order. Better yet why aren’t the ingredients on the website?! Soylent Green is People!!!

This place is the only reason I regret moving to the valley. Every time I’m here I have to order pizza fries and an eegee of course!

Of course the Eegees tasted great but they messed up our order in the drive thru. We only ordered Eegees! Then I went inside to have them fix it and they messed it up again, seriously! I’ll stick to the Eegees in marana, they are much better.

Eegee’s phone home! Why can’t we have these in Phoenix? Look for the flavor of the month and they serve 5″ subs, which are good when you are not that hungry. Ranch fries mmm, I always stop when I am out of town!

Only in Tucson can you enjoy a nice refreshing Eegee! I think all the Eegee’s restaurants are amazing. Service is always friendly and courteous. The drive thru sometimes can get very long, but only cause Eegees is a popular place to go! Try to avoid the lunch and dinner rush if you are in a hurry. Everything is good here. The fries are awesome! Don’t forget to ask for some ranch to go with them, cause their ranch dressing is the best! My son loves the pizza fries, rich marinara sauce and parmesan cheese on top! Their sandwiches are also pretty flavorful, not out of this world, but good enough to hit the spot. My fave is the chicken salad sandwich. Unfortunately, it is available only during the summer months. But oh well, the sandwiches aren’t the reason why we keep coming back here anyway… Gotta love their Eegees! The mango tango flavor is my favorite, closely followed by the cherry pineapple! I love the little chunks of fruit you can find in it. I like that they have the different flavors of the month and cookie of the month too! If you are visiting Tucson, make sure to stop by and get an Eegee, you won’t regret it!

Orange dream is to dream about. Ugh it so sweetly good, easy to consume a ½ pound of sugar at one sitting. I like that its locally owned, and are successful. who can say that anymore? Its meat, however, lets not kid ourselves and think its any better than the dog meat they serve over at subway. MMMmm Orange dream, get it.

Today My daughter and I waited, and waited, and waited for our order to be taken. Orders of fries went by, four people were in the prep area, one guy was in front running his rear off. As we were walking out the door, the guy in the front finally came up to see us and I asked if they were closed. He said, «No I told you it would be a while.» In the course of this visit I spoke to three employees including the shift manager, Each one appologized quickly followed by a reason why their actions were justified. So they were justifying why it was ok for us to wait for an eternity, and there was no remorse when we left. So we went across the street to five guys where the same size of staff did an outstanding job. Bigger order of fries, and the best BLT I’ve had in a while. Here’s a thought, a sincere apology goes a long way to right a situation. If, on the other hand, you are going to justify your behavior/actions, start your sentence with something like«tough on you» or «it sucks to be you» or «too damned bad» because that’s what you are saying in reality.

WOW, if you are up for the best french fries in Tucson, Eegee’s has my vote. When I was a kid I went to Carl’s Jr for the crinkle cut fries, then they stopped making them(This was a very long ago… in the 80’s). So in moving to Tucson and going to this sub shop, what a delightful discovery. They almost always offer ranch with them, but you can also order them with bacon bits n ranch, which comes in a tray; which is even better! I am a huge fan of their grinder sub. The also sell pretzels and hot dogs. The food is pretty simple and simply for me. Their star product is their Eegee’s which are slushies blended with small fruit pieces, which you can order plain, with tea(Iced Teagee), or in your choice of soda(Eegee fizz). Be warned the sizes are very generous, their medium is what I consider a large and the large is way too big for my car cup holder. They always have lemon, strawberry and piña colada Eegee flavors available, plus a flavor of the month. So once you get a favorite(Watermelon for me) it is exciting when it comes around in the year.

While on another day trip to Tucson, a couple of friends and I wanted something to eat. Now, I’ve visited Tucson dozens of times… but when my friends suggested Eegee’s and I told them I’d never been, I might as well have insulted all of their mothers at the same time. Needless to say, we went to Eegee’s. Whenever I go to a place for the first time, I always get a little nervous. I always feel rushed, because I assume that everybody behind me in line already knows what they want. I hate making people wait. So, I pretty much just ordered what my friends did. So, I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I ordered my 8″ Deluxe Grinder on Whole Wheat.(The sandwich is also available in 4″, 8″, 12″, or even a three foot party sub.) Holy cow! One bite was all I needed to ensure that I would DEFINITELY be back to Eegee’s whenever I’m in town. The sandwich has ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone cheese, pickles, black olives, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, spices, pepperoncini and eegee’s house dressing. SO good! After it was already too late, I noticed that you could try the sandwich hot. Perhaps, next time, I’ll give it a shot. So, the sandwich was good… really good. But whenever anyone asks you if you’ve ever«had an Eegee’s», they aren’t talking about whether or not you’ve had one of their many sandwiches. They’re REALLY asking you if you’ve ever sampled one of their frozen drinks. My friends, the seasoned veterans, opted to get the flavor of the month. This particular month, that flavor was Black Raspberry. Although it sounded delicious, the Pina Colada was calling to me. At first blush, I was skeptical. I mean, this drink was orange. I’d never seen anything called«piña colada» that was orange before. But, who was I to pass judgement? I went to take a sip, but quickly realized that, if you want to drink one of these through a straw, you need to let it melt for about an hour. These things are INCREDIBLY thick. I quickly figured out why there are so many spoons. Long story short, it was delicious! A word of caution… pace yourself. Otherwise, the brain freeze might never go away! Then again, you might be a sadist… who am I to judge? In the event that you ENJOY a never ending brain freeze, there are sizes for that: kids, small, medium, large. That, and they offer party sizes that server up to FIFTYPEOPLE! I can tell why this place has been in business for so long. I know for a fact they’ll be getting more of my money!

Their hot dogs come on sub buns which is way too much bread and they have NO relish available at all. I ordered two dogs and put both in the same bun but it didn’t help; with no relish, it tasted yuk. I wish they had some decent food to go with some of the best frys around.

In response to the previous reviewer, this eegees has been next to my hosue forever, and is great. I’ve been coming to this location for years, and it has been awesome every time. They have amazing french fries, their ranch fries are the best. I prefer to eat their tuna subs. I think they put relish in their tuna, and it makes it taste like heaven. I prefer the piña colada and teegee(tea+lemon eegee). Sadly, it was this location that was the scene of a shocking and gruesome murder about 10 years ago.
