I have been seeing Dr Pelayo and I am very please. She has come up With additional strategies to help me. She regulates my medicine and does see me on a frequent basis to see that I am regulated and doing well. The staff makes me feel at ease and comfortable. I truly appreciates the care I am getting. I do not feel like I am on the factory line on give a drug and let you go. She is a kind understanding ethical Doctor. If this is what you want she is the person to go to.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Pelayo for about six months now… It’s not something that you publicize but I feel the two reviews on here are incredibly inaccurate. She has helped me a lot and really got my meds regulated correctly, which was a long process that involved a therapist. I’ve seen multiple doctors in town and she does not, by any means, over charge. She also sees you as needed, I was once a month and then twice a month when I was struggling and then went back to once a month. Lastly… Two out of the three medical professionals that I saw had a 48 hr cancelation notice requirement. I don’t know… I guess my experience has really been awesome.

Dr Pelayo and her office staff are completely unprofessional and terrible to work with. From my very first visit they tried to over charge me without even attempting to bill my insurance first. I also was not very happy with how my visit went but decided to give her one more appt. the day before my appt I had something urgent come up and had to go out of town. I called with a 24 hour notice and was told that this particular dr needed a two day notice. I explained my situation to the front staff and asked if she could talk to the dr. She told me it would be unprofessional of her to ask if I would get charged a fee. This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard! I guess anything to make a quick buck

I sincerely hope that the Affordable Care Act will STOP doctors like this one from insisting on unnecessary office visits to grease there own pockets!!! It is beyond unethical and a waste of everyones time! If you are seeing this doctor for ADD medication she insists you come every month… you must know that few doctors in Tucson have this requirement most require one or two visits a year. STAYAWAY from doctors soley motivated by profit!
