Fors Architecture & Interiors

FORS architecture is the brainchild of the renowed architect Sonya Sotinsky, a noted and oft published young architect with a masters level degee from the prestigious Berkeley, California, school of architecture and design. She is well known nationwide for her creative use of modern industrial materials and minimalist designs. She has won numerous awards and her work, including my small 1600 square foot home, has appeared in many cutting edge architectural magazines. I was lucky that Ms. Sotinsky accepted me as a client, for she is in great demand. My home has vast amounts of glass and is supported by cinder block and beautiful industrial steel supporting beams. Although our home is located mid-​city we have wonderful panaromic views of the Catalina Mountains. Ms. Sotinsky’s work is not just a home but art work, sculpture. She is truly a gifted artist and I highly recommend her to anybody that is looking for a home that is not only a home but a unique piece of art work as well.

So. Every cool restaurant I visited in last three years was designed by this firm. Their newest are Sir Veza and Union. As I was looking for ideas for our remodel, I started to notice that Tucson had some new impressive restaurants with designs rivaling chic urban places around the country. I found myself making extra trips to the bathroom just to look at the design again. I asked about the architects when finding myself in these cool places. FORS was the common thread. Noble Hops, awesome. The Abbey, so nice. The Hub, amazing. Pasco, fabulous. Downtown cocktails and drinks, so cool. Found out they also do remodels and new construction of homes. I decided to hire them to do my remodel of a 1969 adobe home. After a few months and a lot of dust, the house looks amazing. They are talented, responsive, and intuitive. They were busy and sometimes took a little too long, but never made us feel like we were a small job. We ended up with a gorgeous home. The transformation is breathtaking and worthy of a magazine cover. The style is chic but practical. The cost was extremely reasonable. Gotta check these guys out. They rock and they are rocking Tucson!

If you have a restaurant and want to do something cool check these guys out. They have done pretty much every swanky place in Tucson. Hub, Janos Dowtown, Zin Burger, The Abby, and more. They are the hidden whose who of the hipster Unilocal scene. They helped me with a super cool remodel on my house as well. Be patient not always the fastest but worth the wait.
