Four Points by Sheraton Tucson Airport

Ok hotel near the Tucson airport. Room was clean and quiet. the price was reasonable.

Checking in was easy with super friendly staff. The room was imaculate. Ordered room service breakfast which was delivered at the time it was ordered for and it was a very good with very large portions. checking out was a breeze with a shuttle waiting to take me to the airport. Would recommend to anyone that wants quality at an affordable rate. Did I mention the staff was awesome…

Never stayed there but the R & R Grill was a great find. Appetizers are good, especially the calamari. Had an excellent steak one night and the service was impeccable. Had the fish & chips for lunch more than once and the whole meal was perfect each time. Really good salad with shrimp or chicken & the club sandwich is also a good choice. You can tell I’m a fan. Only downside – a little pricey at dinner.

It’s a nice place reasonably priced right at the airport I don’t really use the lounge that much anymore but I do stay here quite a bit so I’m changing this to four stars from three my only complaint is that a lot of people stay here because the flights out of Tucson airport are at 5 o’clock in the morning and with a little kid screaming and bouncing around in the pool and Jacuzzi till after 10 is a pain

Great spot to stay. Next to the airport. Quiet and nice rooms. Pool and jacuzzi was also great. Great restaurant a little pricy but great. Service is good. Will stay here again if needed.

Seriously down the street from the airport. The crew and I could’ve walked from the airport to the hotel if we wanted to.
The hotel itself is pretty nice. The young man at the front desk was delightful and apologized for the van’s late arrival.
The rooms are very spacious but the bathroom is teeny tiny. The door to the bathroom almost touches the toilet. Other than that the hotel is great!

I DON’T like writing bad reviews. The staff at this hotel were AMAZING. At breakfast every one greeted us like family and were giving constant refills of coffee, OJ, Water, etc. For free breakfast, the service was top notch. (TIP YOUR SERVERS!)
Rooms were decent, except the bathroom was very small and you could LITERALLY hear everything the person above you was doing.
I had probably the most BIZARRE incidents of my life at this hotel. It is a long story — and I hate when crazy people leave insane stories on Unilocal,but really… I promise I am not exaggerating or making this up. I basically got stalked the first night I was in the hotel. The front desk handled it very well, they fixed the door into the rooms that were opening without a key and they walked me back to my room at night when I felt uncomfortable.
I was there for a Gem show for work. I had 2 inexpensive silver rings that I had left on the counter. I always leave these rings around at any hotel I have stayed it. Realized 2 days later they were gone. The maids obviously knew the show was going on because it literally takes over the entire city. Little did they know, it was cubic zirconia and Silver.
I didn’t even want to mention to the front desk but on the last day I did. It wasn’t about the rings, it was about the principal. I’m sure if they can pocket a cheap ring, they can obviously pocket an expensive one. Front desk was very nice about it.
Won’t stay here again.
Ladies — Watch out for a creepy man in his 40’s lingering around. If you feel uncomfortable, don’t walk back to your room by yourself

First time to Tucson, and these guys were GREAT! When you stay there, make sure dine at R&R!

Sheraton properties are some of my favorites. Let me sum up my experience.
Three story building very convenient to the airport.
Rooms are clean, but no frills.
Sheraton comfortable beds.
Fitness center is small. Three treadmills, a couple of other machines and a small amount of weights.
The restaurant, R & R grill is actually pretty good.
The entire staff and restaurant staff are very friendly, hence the four star review.
Big con — if you want to sleep in past 7:30am, forget it. The military uses one of the runways at the airport. The jets taking off shake the entire building.
I’d would definitely stay here again.

I can hear every step the person on the floor above me takes. I don’t know if the person is trying to work out or they just walk around the room the whole entire night. it’s quite annoying when you need to wake up at 3 am the next morning –_​– I am definitely not staying here if I ever go to Tucson again. Only reason I gave them 1 stars is because the staff is friendly. Did I mention they don’t restock their toilet paper?! Not so hot when someone is sneezing like crazy bc of the dust storm! I walk in and there’s hardly any tissue paper. For 89+tax a night and I can’t even get a full roll of toilet paper?! I don’t think so !

This hotel is very conveniently located near the Tucson airport with a good bar/​grill attached. However, here is the one caveat: slamming doors. I have trouble sleeping here for that specific reason. The hotel is divided up into several buildings. Every floor has its own entry door at each end of the hallway. This usually equals an initial door slam for people entering from the exterior and another door slam for each individual’s room. Count on this happening randomly from 11pm to 1am. particularly on weekends and especially if you are getting up at 4am for a flight.
If your room is near the entry, I would recommend getting moved to the middle of the hall.

I’m not huge on the 4 Points brand of Starwood but for this one I make an exception. One of the nicest no wait the nicest 4 Points I’ve ever stayed in. New, very nice. Great room, great service plus they give both the points and a full breakfast and a damn fine breakfast it is. Highly recommended.

Rating 5 stars on this visit. Superior customer service from manager and van drivers. Comfortable rooms and an awesome workout facility. Only suggestion please put some blinds on the door so you don’t have an audience when working out. It kind of gets uncomfortable when you have maintenance taking unnecessary looks and walk bys. You can only dust the same chair rail so many times where it’s noticeable you aren’t really working.

I’m only staying here for one night because my flight leaves early tomorrow morning. The outside of the hotel looks nice, and so does the lobby but everything else is pretty old.
PROS: This hotel is right by the airport and all the quick park services, which make it really convenient for travel. I used the gym facility and the equipment was clean. My room so far looks clean after careful inspection. My bed feels very soft. And my shower had great pressure and was scolding hot. However…
CONS: My hallway smells something fierce. It smells like a combination of B.O. and Chinese food. My room door won’t lock from the inside, thank God I have the safety on and you have to have a key to access it from the outside. I can’t find a remote guide so I have to surf all the channels to figure out what options I have. They have no electrical output for your cell phone by the bed. The only one is across the room. How am I supposed to use my phone as an alarm clock? Good question. The bathroom is so small, I can barely move around in it and I am 5’2″. The bathroom door opens into the bathroom and takes up the entire space. The curtains in my room are old and dirty/​dusty (like what you would expect to find in an antique shop). They don’t have a business center, only two computers that when in use, your back faces the lobby, so everyone inside the hotel can see what you are doing, leaving you with no privacy at all. No staples, paper clips, pen or paper at the business center. I printed my travel itinerary and there was no way for me to staple it, or make sure that I could keep the multiple pages I had for my extensive flight together.
I will never stay here ever again and I’m glad I’m only staying here for one night. For those of you who are reading this, you may wonder why I gave it 2 stars instead of something lower, but the reason is for cleanliness. Even though there are alot of cons, my room is pretty good and that’s all I care about for one night. Oh, and the lady that checked me in was friendly. So, that was a bonus. But, if you are going to stay in the area, I would pick somewhere else. I am sure you can find MUCH nicer hotels in the area for a comparable price.

Place to put your head down. The rooms were clean and massive. Not a very big fan of beds that you have to climb to get in on. But they were comfy none the less.
We went to the bar for drinks, the staff was very nice, their duck gordita was very good.
The fitness center was really nice. The pool looks really inviting even though I never got to jump into it. Best thing about this hotel is the free breakfast in the morning. It’s a full buffet with an omelette station. Life is always good when there’s free food involved. I would definitely come back here.
Aside from van driver dropping the ball upon pick up the night before, everything is all good. («,)

Thanks HotWire for giving me Four Points as my hotel. I only had to pay about $ 100 for two nights. Really good deal in my opinion. I stayed my last two nights in Tucson by the airport and this hotel was great! 1 King size huuuuuge bed that is super super comfy and fluffy. Awesome sleep! The room was clean as well with an ok view, but i didn’t mind. I actually liked that my room was not one of those surrounding the pool.
The pool is a good size and deep enough. A little Jacuzzi that has bubbles and super relaxing. Staff was friendly and helpful, plus the gym was big! I walked in and there was like 10 machines, plus lots of weights and space. One of the bigger ones I’ve seen before. This hotel also has a little restaurant attached to it that I also reviewed separately. Wifi is through a cord you attach to your laptop, so I assume its not really wireless and only one person in your room can utilize it at a time. But it is free, though you have to sign in every day.
Recommend getting a car if you can or else you will be bored if you stay at this hotel. Nothing amazing is really in a walking distance. The bus stop across the street can take you to the zoo and probably somewhere else, but it was hot and confusing to me. There is a 24hr shuttle to the airport as well or you can just walk. One thing I like about this hotel is their option of going green. You can reject room service and for everyday you either get a $ 5 food voucher or 250 spg points. Nice little tidbit.

We missed our flight and had to find a place to stay. Four Points was recommended by the kind woman who helped us rebook at Delta, so we decided to check it out.
Got a nice room for $ 79. We didn’t have to take a cab because it was a short walk from the airport, maybe ¼ a mile (don’t try cutting through the parking lot because it’s fenced at the back).
I looked online before we walked here and you have a nice set of options to choose amongst in the category of hotels next to the airport. We liked the look of this place and went with the recommendation. The rooms, upon entry, had a funny smell. The hallway too. Not bad, but still a little funny — like the smell of a rental car that’s been «deodorized» of cigarette smoke. Masked is more like it.
The room itself is quite nice. Spacious and well appointed. I am not a big fan of the wall unit air conditioner, much prefer the quieter central air variety, but otherwise, I’m very pleased with the quality here.
The bed is nice. Big, firm and no sagging in the middle. NIce quality pillows and crisp white sheets.
We had dinner at the restaurant downstairs and were pleasantly surprised. Cute little place with a nice bartender busy making drinks and being pleasant. I had a solid cesar salad and we shared some truffle fries — they were a little greasy but came out hot and were flavorful. Bill for two salads and the fries was about $ 30.
I’m glad we opted to save some money and stay here instead of hiking back to our hotel in the foothills. I’d recommend this place, especially at this price!

Hey Four Points Sheraton Tucson Airport, You did it again! Another Stay, Another Victory! Very relaxing, very quiet! And very fun! My stays in Tucson AZ. Will always be at the Four Points Sheraton Airport! Where you’re always treated like A Preferred Guest!!! GREAT JOB!!!

I have mixed feelings about this hotel.
My stay here was for about a week and I had a decent deal through Priceline for about $ 50 per night. I guess because of the deal I got, I was treated like an ugly, red-​headed stepchild — they put me all the way to the right and in the back with the lovely airport parking lot as my view. When I went back to see if I could change it, they told me that all the rooms were booked. I counted 20 cars in the lot that night. It was highly unlikely I was told the truth.
They contract out this hotel to some airlines and to the FedEx trucking company, so you’ll see a bunch of FedEx trucks parked on the right, backside of the parking lot. They were my neighbors for the extend of my stay. They check-​in during the day and check-​out at night. I must say that truckers made great neighbors; never heard a peep from them. I guess driving 8 – 10 hours a day can wear a guy down. So if you’re staying in the rear of the hotel, please be respectful to those truckers (they sleep during the day).
The hotel is decent. Clean, firm beds, friendly staff, and two workstations by the check-​in area for public use (complementary printing). Free ice water with a dash of lemon by the stations.
I didn’t bother to try much of the other facilities. My time was spend mostly outdoors. If you haven’t been to Tucson before, you should really visit the national parks here. They are quite beautiful. (Not during the summer, of course)

Sabino Canyon — my fav
Sanguaro National park — gates pass area is nice
Arizona-​Sonora Desert Museum — a must for kids, make this your first stop to learn about the environment.
Mt. Lemmon — beautiful drive. Snow during winter.
Extra time to kill:
Picacho Peak (hike it if you’re in decent shape, the site where the only Civil War battle in Arizona was fought) (closed during summer, ’cause they don’t want you to die from heat stroke (my guess)).
San Xavier del Bac Mission (white church painted by 3^rd rate artists, skip if you’re not into religion.)
In short, if you book through an online company, you will most likely be treated like an ugly red-​headed stepchild and be sent to the worst rooms in the hotel. If you don’t have a car, you may be stuck eating in the hotel restaurant. I heard from others that it was actually pretty good. I didn’t take the chance. There are a few fast food (Burger King, Subway) joints a few blocks away (5 – 10 minutes walk). Free airport shuttle. I didn’t hear any commercial planes, but I heard a few jet fighters flying around. They were loud, but only during the day and didn’t occur often.
I will probably not return. Didn’t like the way I was treated.

I thought this place was great for the value. Well, I booked it using Starwood points.
The bed was huge and SOOO comfortable. Everything seemed clean and nice.
There was a microwave and mini fridge.
I was very happy with it.
