Just a beautifully remodeled theater and went to catch a jazz festival performance here. It was wonderful. The acoustics are great and has a casual yet sophisticated feel. Would definitely come back for more shows here.

Fox Theatre. Beautiful! Lobby is small. But the detail and design is amazing. Sound was terrific. Wonderful venue. Tonight Kenner Warner started the concert. Simply amazing. Jimmy Heath. The 89 year old legend was fun to watch.

I recently went to the Fox for the first time to see The Polar Express with my kids. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the theater was. Very open and spacious. Feels«grand». For the movie night they provided free bells, hot chocolate, and peppermint sticks, which I thought were really nice touches. After reading other reviews we headed up to the balcony, being lured by the larger seating(double sized chairs so two can fit). I actually think we had a better view of the screen than people down below. The only things I didn’t like we’re that 1) there were an incredible number of seat savers that ushers seemed to not care about. Literally about half the seats were saved when we got there, even though we were there 20 minutes early. Also, they boast $ 7 tickets and kids are free. Well it’s true kids(12& under) are free, but a $ 7 ticket is a blatant misrepresentation. It’s $ 7 + a $ 2 service fee per ticket + a $ 5.50 convenience fee for booking online. In the end, two tickets(which as advertised should be $ 14) ended up costing $ 24. Not a big deal and still very much worth the price, but just annoying to feel nickel & dimed. I would’ve rather them just advertise the tickets at $ 12 each. Personal preference. Anyway, overall it was a great experience and we’ll definitely be back!

We went to the Fox to see Straight No Chaser open their«New Old Fashioned» tour. Great concern, great venue. The Fox is a renovated art deco theatre. while a good sized venue, it’s an intimate space. The group did one number a cappella with the sound system turned off. The space has good acoustics without the sound system.

A really nice place to watch a concert or movie. They have the place nicely decorated and it makes you feel like you have gone back in time a bit.

This was my 1st time attending a show here. We saw Twintastic, which was a great performance, and I was impressed with the facility and personnel. The show used minimal theater props(2 performers and a grand piano). We had great seats N111−112(aisle), but I’m 6’5″, 195, so the seats were fine for legroom, but built for 1930’s-sized shoulders. I understand there is loveseat-type seating in the balcony. The acoustics are excellent, the interiors Southwest Deco and well maintained. My partner enjoyed the full bar which was really reasonably priced. The show price for two was $ 39(REALLY reasonable!) but $ 52 out the door with handling fees. Still a great value considering how good the show was. We didn’t have to look too long for parking because we found street parking about a block away, and we were about a half hour early for the 7 pm show on a Sunday night. Subway Sandwiches was open next door, and there were some other F&B venues nearby, 2 – 3 blocks away if we’d been hungry. The theater does have a movie palace-type snack bar in addition to the bar. Almost perfect except for the shoulder room

We bought tickets at the last minute and were in the back on the main floor. The venue is very small but we still had great sight of the artist. Roseanne Cash is a flawless singer and her purity was enhanced by the acoustics and the sound system at the Fox. The snack bar was reasonable and popcorn yummy. Only teeny, tiny complaint is the seat size. They were designed before Americans got bigger so I felt the neighborly closeness a little too much. The downtown location is great for parking and walking to dinner and the show. This was my first Tucson concert and I loved the eclectic audience and their attire.

Cirque d’Or — all things considered this was entertaining! There were a few blunders and it certainly was not at the level of Cirque du Soleil however, it was still enjoyable! The Fox Theater is a lovely venue, easy to get to and comfortable seating. Great view of the stage and I appreciate the bar and snacks. We will certainly return

Went to see Polar Express. We sat in the balcony seats. They were double seats, very comfy and great view of the screen. Highly recommend the seats upstairs with your own snack bar with drinks and popcorn and bathrooms. Wonderful movie for the holidays!

The Fox Theater is my favorite historic building in Tucson. The renovation turn out so well. I had a chance to tour the theater while it was still being renovated and it was a huge project. Before the renovation there wasn’t much left to work with. There was a large dirt pile roped off right in the center of the theater. The renovation tour just went around it. I once met a person who told me he and his friend would break into the abandon theater and drink, it was a long time ago. I am so glad we have people in the community who had the vision to bring this theater back to life. I have a soft spot for classic old«movie palaces» and The Fox Theater in Tucson is my favorite. The Art Deco design is impressive. If you visit and have orchestra seats you must take a side trip up to the balcony and look around. There is a lounge off to the south side of the balcony with a nice display detailing the renovation. This is also a great place to get an eye level look at the fabulous Fox Theater sign. Just take a quick look out the window. I have been to a few performances and a few classic movies at The Fox. The schedule seems to me to be geared more to the calmer, more mature, crowd. I always sit in the lower level. For movies I like to get pretty close to the front. The movie screen at The Fox isn’t very large. I once bought a Fox Theater gift certificate to give as a wedding gift. It was nice to be able to support the theater while getting something for the-people-who-have-everything. As a celebration of the very first Tucson Downtown Second Saturday The Fox featured The Portland Cello Project, a group that plays everything from Heavy Metal music to Britney Spears on the Cello. I had never heard of the group before seeing them at The Fox, but I have since gone to a couple of their concerts. I have to thank The Fox for the introduction. The Fox offers a great little snack bar. They offer a nice wine list and a full bar. They serve popcorn. Turn to the left upon entering the theater to get to the closest snack bar and restroom. Last week I had the pleasure of seeing David Sedaris. I didn’t have any problems hearing any of his readings. Each word was crystal clear. I also had a great view of the stage. I sat in row ‘S’ seat 14. I would request this seat again, it was wonderful. I will be back to The Fox; it is a beautiful theater.

Tucson young professionals, shoutout :-) I hadn’t been upstairs at the Fox before the TYP Fashion Show. The intimate little art deco bar is well-stocked, hip, and classy. The little VIP room was set up beautifully with a small space for the musicians, an open buffet room for the spread and beverage tastings, and even a small cubby dedicated to those teeny melt-in-your-mouth cupcakes set out like gems on an antique buffet. The Fox has become nothing if not versatile as a treasured downtown venue. The tall runway and stage set for this show was worthy of the fashion district in Milan or New York, beautifully lit with impeccable sound. As the Rialto has taken a beating from booking so many shows targeting the young rowdy set, the Fox has taken on an air of high society, decorous style and timeless class.

We love the Fox! I had never been to the Fox before about a year ago. However, we got invited to see a concert there once and realized it was a great place for intimate concerts. We now have been back for several other concerts and love it. Our favorite seating is up on the balcony in the two person couch/seats. It is worth checking out!

Here again in under a week– this time for Diamond Rio. I wouldn’t say I’m a country music fan, but this was a incredibly fun show. Last time we sat front row balcony in the love seats– this time about 6 rows back on the ground floor– I’m getting the impression that anywhere you sit will give you a great view. Again, there was no dancing allowed, which is a massive shame. Come on– I wore my fancy new jeans and wanted to two-step with a country boy! Acoustics were great, Diamond Rio was great, staff was great, bartenders, great! On the way out the band lined up for autographs and pictures– super cool. I umm. don’t own any country music stuff, so I handed over my tickets which they happily signed for me– even got a picture with them.

The Fox has come a long way in recent years and they’ve really opened themselves up to the greater community to host really fantastic events outside of their regular performance schedule. The Fox is gorgeous and the drinks are cheap(they even feature local brews!). They bring in a variety of live shows and screen old films too(which makes for a fun date night downtown). The Fox is worth a visit folks! I’d give 5 stars if they brought in some bigger headlines into this amazing venue.

Beautiful restoration. Great acoustics. Good god some of those seats are for wee people … Be careful of the row where you get your tickets… I am still slapping my thighs to get the blood flow back. Mellow dress code — clean and comfortable. Concessions upstairs and downstairs. Parking can be tricky… I will go back, just will select my seat more carefully.

Pirouettes, pliés and IPA’s… that was my experience a the Fox Theatre. We were there to see the Moscow ballet perform The Nutcracker. Fox’s concessions feature beers from our very own local brewery, Dragoon. What better way to watch magical toys brought to life via ballet than sipping on a great local brew in a historic venue?

The Fox Theatre is a rare gem in Tucson. I was very pleased with the old time feel the theatre had. It truly felt like night out on the town. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely look into other theatrical performances they host here!
