Goodness Juice Bar has the pull of everything I love in food: fast, delicious, healthy and colorful! It was on my list of places to visit in Tucson from the beginning, so with the first opportunity given, I drove straight to Goodness for indulge myself. I came in with Acai on my mind. Luckily I didn’t hold up a line while making my difficult food decisions; I vacillated between the Mango Jungle bowl and the Pink Dragon, but the bee pollen and raw honey on the Mango bowl won me over. I also decided I needed to try a Tofu Taco. You walk up to the ordering counter, sign says«Order Here» — easy. Give your order, then sit down and relax until your name is called at the«Pick Up» station. My order came out in waves: first the Acai bowl, then the Tofu Taco about 3 minutes later. So I started in on the Acai bowl as soon as it was in front of me. And sadly, I found that this bowl was not excessively impressive. My favorite aspects were the bee pollen as well as the raw honey — they provided the most flavor in the bowl. The acai mixture was yummy, but the mango was slightly under-ripe, so not much«mango» came through. I still enjoyed this cold treat, however. I’d start with the Pink Dragon next time. The Tofu Taco was delicious!!! It is on the A la Cart menu, and comes on a wheat tortilla. The tofu is also supplemented by a cabbage slaw, roasted red peppers, pumpkin seeds and an amazing cilantro cream sauce. One taco definitely wasn’t enough(I wanted to eat at least 3 more) but I was heading back home for a bite with the family, so it was better that I didn’t stuff myself. If I lived in Tucson, I know that Goodness Juice bar would be a constant stop for me. I love how they serve healthy foods that also taste excellent. It’s my favorite way of eating. Just while sitting in and enjoying my quick meal, I noted how busy this establishment gets! There was a constant stream of people, and a line even started to form while I watched, though it moved quickly. This will totally be a traditional stop for every time I visit Tucson.

Goodness is really as good as it gets in Tucson — If you like eating healthy, real food and you want it to taste good. This place is definitely not SAD(Standard American Diet), in fact I feel happy just thinking about it. As they say on their website they use«the purest and freshest ingredients.» It is a tad on the expensive side, so I don’t go here that often… My roasted vegetable«salad»(really more of a cooled down«bowl» and great for summer — ingredients: greens, broccoli, carrots, beets, asparagus, pickled red onion, garlic, brown rice, chipotle agave dressing) + a small juice set me back $ 16. And the dressing is so yummmy! But the meal was big enough that I saved half for the next day. Oh. The only negative which I agree with so many other reviewers on is the noise level in the place and their bizarre system for giving customers their orders. Everyone is milling about in a confused fashion near a small counter as orders are announced. And a very small station with a single salt shaker for the whole restaurant. How about this Idea: Numbers on an LED screen? One way that the DMV experience beats Goodness.

Only been once while in Tucson but it was outstanding! I ordered the dragon bowl which was sweet, filling and simply delicious. I also ordered an iced green tea which was perfect for my long drive. Will be back again!

My wife has been going to this place for years as she’s into juicing. Even though I think juicing is such a fad they do it right here! The big melons is refreshing yet not overly sweet. The tacos are very light accompanied by delectable toppings. I would recommend the chicken and tofu tacos over and over again! I could do without the wheat based tortilla but I know they emphasize the importance of health.

Fresh and healthy ingredients is the signature of Goodness. I highly recommend their acai bowls, specifically the Cacao Warrior — Full of berries, hemp seeds, chia seeds, cacao nibs and cool refreshing acai. Also recommend the breakfast burrito — busting with quinoa, homemade fresh salsa, eggs, turkey sausage. Honestly, one of the best breakfast burritos we’ve ever had and didn’t make you feel gross after! Very satisfied every time I leave!

Goodness has a nice selection of modern eclectic food, and the food itself is delicious. I give it four stars because it’s quite expensive. But if you don’t mind the large expense I would highly recommend it. Favorites: «the goods» smoothie, tuna sandwich.

Recently had lunch from Goodness and Oh My Goodness! See what I did there? We split the Thai Chicken Bowl and the Roast Chicken and Brie Sandwich. The Thai Chicken Bowl was served with vibrant carrots and broccoli which seemed to be at their peak. But the highlight of that dish was the sliced, spiced apple. The apple was a vibrant addition to the dish. Both were very fresh tasting and had beautiful presentation. If you like fresh, high quality, nutritious and delicious food this is the place for you. I didn’t check out their juices but one always needs a reason to go back.

Oh my goodness(in a Minnesota accent). Expensive but GOOD for the GOODNESS of your body. The Daily Buzz is the good, gooder, goodest. Alright that was all very good and annoying. Worth the price. Even if I feel super unhip and so very in my 30s when I’m surrounded by the kale consuming good hipsters. :D

Just visited and was impressed by how they got rid of their«to go containers» and upped their portion sizes. Prices still have not changed but I’m happy to pay if I feel my $‘s match what I’m getting as far as portion and my experience is concerned. Will definitely be coming back again. I was really impressed by how full I felt after my meal here and again I am extremely happy that they got rid of their dine in to-go containers which didn’t make any sense to me. I’m still a little apprehensive of getting a sandwich though as my experience with those have been tainted in the past, but I can definitely feel good about ordering a bowl or a smoothie.

Great concept, perfect location, awesome patio and intriguing menu selections. We were pretty excited to try this trendy spot in a kind of divey, retro strip shopping center. The cashier was cordial and efficient. The prices were a bit steep, but you might expect to pay more for fresh and healthy food, right? The beet salad and teriyaki chicken bowl were pretty good and the ingredients seemed fresh and healthy. The best item was the pesto grilled cheese with tomato soup. This is a classic meal and they nailed this one. Overall, a decent experience and it’s nice feeling content after a healthy meal and not excessively full.

Sandwich bread is changed from regular olé wheat bread that you use at home to a wheat long sub bread :). Kafette with sugar is amazing! 3 bucks for a shot glass size of coffee but it’s so smooth and tasty and packed with caffeine lol. I always rotate between the pink dragon, the chicken n brie sandwich, and the kale citrus wrap(which was taken off the menu as a wrap but they can still make it at request)

Pretty average. Granted, we only tried two items but both items were alright, but not as good as we hoped. I got a «hot» turkey pesto sandwich, but the pesto, cheese and turkey were slapped on a toasted bread. The sandwich was cold in minutes, and the insides weren’t close to being hot at all. The sandwich was over priced, I thought. I also didn’t notice why it was worth so much more, when I could make the same sandwich at home, have it taste the same, and spend way less money. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t something I’d pay 9 bucks for… The other meal we got was the thai chicken bowl with quinoa. Another eh dish. The ingredients are fresh but uninspiring. Again, with a little effort and less money, we could make this dish at home. We also got a lemmon scone. Very eh. No different than a random scone you get at Fry’s… beyond bread has amaze-balls pastries. Sure, maybe they put more sugar, fat, salt etc into their pastries but hot damn is this place not worth the hipster hype. Ambiance is great, openness is great. Food is alright, prices suck.

This place seriously will make your mouth water. Went here a few weeks ago and was blown away by their food. I had the Turkey Feta wrap and it was so filling and yummy. I had just gotten back from a workout and this was the perfect meal. It didn’t leave me feeling groggy but rather everything tasted fresh and it felt like the food was actually fueling me; as food should! The only reason why I am dinging them a star is because of the service. Everyone here was very friendly but it took almost 45 minutes to get our food; longer than a lot of sit down restaurants. Definitely will go back but hopefully on a less crowded day!

This is one of my favorites in Tucson for breakfast(and for working. It almost workes as an office for me sometimes.) I drink coffee, do emails, and enjoy good food. The ingredients are advertised to be fresh and organic. I feel good eating here. The staff is friendly. I’ve tried different bowls, burritos, salads, and others and like them all. I plan on trying all menu items. It’s a comfortable place and good food for me. Two recommendations for breakfast: original burrito and cacao warrior. The warrior is mixture of coconut, seeds, granola and berries providing a nice mixture of smooth almond milk texture with crunchiness. This morning the warrior is extra delicious!

Just had a terrible experience I feel I need to share: I got an egg white burrito to go. Burrito was wrapped in super flimsy piece of deli paper. When I opened the burrito it was super soggy, the tortilla was that wet-slimey way they get when there is too much juice. The deli paper was sticking to the whole outside of the tortilla. I finally got some off to take a bite. First bite was good(despite sogginess). Second bite sent an EXPLOSION of juices out of the back end. Luckily I was eating over the tiny paper bag they gave me. I could see how giant the puddle was. There was juices all over the table, my skirt, and hands, which leads me to my next complaint: NONAPKINS. I threw out ¾ of a $ 10.50 burrito because It was a giant pile of mucky mess. I’m still hungry.

Ok, I didn’t like this place and won’t be back. Here’s why: 1. This may seem trivial to some, but I HATED having my name called on a loudspeaker to pick up my order. Embarrassing, LOUD, and I don’t need every patron knowing my name/order. Why the heck is this necessary in a tiny smoothie shop is beyond me. PLEASE, at least assign customer numbers Five Guys style so the world doesn’t have to hear my name at 82938283 decibels. 2. My smoothie was not properly blended whatsoever. When I started drinking it I just thought it was bland, but I discovered the bananas/chocolate all caked at the bottom. No thank you. If you can invest in loudspeakers, you can invest in a Vitamix or at least a decent blender. 3. I don’t want to sound like a snob but I will anyway… all of the employees were dressed lke ex-cons in dirty outfits with the attitudes to go along with it. The guy taking my order was unfriendly, did not educate me about how the process worked even though I told him It was my first time here, and continued conversations with his coworkers while taking my order. Not really my kind of customer service. Smoothie shops are kind of a niche — well dressed and friendly employees, large selection with a level of customer education, and caring about pleasing your customer. I Implore management to work on this obvious issue. On the flip side, the guy taking out the garbage wished me a good day. Maybe he could teach his coworkers about how to run a business.

Goodness definitely has its healthy veggie vibe down to a calculated science. The open kitchen, clean stainless steel accents and oddball organic/natural brands of sodas and healthy(?) chips peddled at the cash register are irresistible hipster magnets, no doubt. So it’s no surprise why they have another location on the U of A campus. The food is well prepared and made from good quality ingredients but the flavors just weren’t there for me. The fresh juice bar is a nice touch and serves as another draw for the healthier juicing crowds but Jamba Juice kills this place on a juice/smoothie level. Period. For some reason, people believe this food is healthy and low cal but unless you’re ordering wheatgrass shots and plain quinoa you’re still getting a hefty dose of fat, calories and even sugar(just without as much flavor as your preferred junk food). I tried a turkey feta wrap and it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. It was freshly prepared which I appreciated. It was dressed heavily and came with an extra side of dressing on top of that. Other than the dressing(which seemed to be a basic Italian vinaigrette) the thing didn’t taste like much of anything. I’d expect that if it’d been tofu but it was turkey. After my meal I felt really full almost to the point of being bloated. This is uncharacteristic of good healthy vegetarian food(yes I realize I ordered turkey). I might as well have had a pizza and beer if I’d known I was going to swell up like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Best part of this meal was the natural, organic sasparilla I bought like an impulse item automaton. Sad but true.

I met a friend here for lunch for the first time today. I got the Kale Citrus salad and a bottle of water, and she got some sort of steak quinoa bowl with a super delicious yogurt sauce on the side. The place itself is cute, though when I was there all of the tables were dirty, and for the hour that I was there nobody came out to clean them. So, after I ordered, I found the least dirty table and sat down to wait for my companion. Ordering was fine. The guy wasn’t overly friendly, didn’t even crack a smile when I walked up to the counter. He wasn’t rude, but he wasn’t memorable, either. My salad was nearly identical to a salad I get for half the price at Trader Joe’s. It had butternut squash, cranberries, pumpkin seeds, brussel sprouts and a citrus dressing. It was yummy, and while it wasn’t super expensive as far as salads go, while i was eating it I kept thinking that I get the same salad, the same size, for a lot less. Maybe I should have gotten something else. Maybe I had different expectations since it did cost more. I don’t know. I’m totally willing to come back here. They had some smoothies that looked delicious, and some of their other vegetarian fare looked like it would be worth a try. I wasn’t a huge fan after today, but I didn’t hate my lunch. It was a three star experience, «A-OK» as Unilocal puts it. Food that was ok, and service that was mediocre at best.

I’m a fan of Goodness! I went there two weekends ago to grab some brunch with my SO. As a vegetarian, I really appreciate the variety of meals on the menu. They’re super filling, healthy and tasty. I ordered the breakfast burrito with quinoa, eggs, and avocado. It made me very happy. Meat eaters can rejoice too! My BF got a sandwich which left him full for the rest of the day. Fast and excellent service at great prices :)
