The best therapeutic massage therapist in Tucson, Kevin Chao was moved! He now sees clients in their homes! Yay! Kevin came over and gave me one of his usual high-​quality, deep tissue massages in my living room! What could be better than that? Not much, let me tell you! Kevin brought his massage table, lotion, sheets, blanket and music. I live by Sunrise and Craycroft and the location was not a problem. For you Oro Valley-​ans, Kevin’s got clients up your way too. If you’re sore, have muscle or joint issues, then the thoughtful and affable Kevin is your man. And his prices are SO reasonable! Kevin is a U of A student and does massage two days a week. I HIGHLY recommend him!

Omg!!! Kevin is amazing! I had my first deep tissue massage today, he was kind enough to honor the massage at his groupon price. I felt very comfortable as soon as I met Kevin. I explained to him my problem area (hips) and he said he knew exactly what to do, and he was spot on! Within 30 min I felt this huge pressure leave from my hips. I have been dealing with hip pain for almost a year now, nothing seemed to be working until someone suggested a massage. Kevin took his time and made sure the pressure wasn’t too much. I spent most of my appointment talking to Kevin, he is such a knowledgable nice guy! Very easy going! I feel like a new person. I even bought a gift certificate for my mom and have already been referring him to everyone I know. Will be returning for sure!!! Kevin is the best!!! Thank you so much for helping me and finally relieving this horrible pain!!!

I began having a nerve issue in my neck which radiates down my arm. My Doc suggested massage therapy. My first session with Kevin was a Groupon and now I am hooked. After two 1.5 hour sessions the tingle is almost gone. He has also been working on the connective tissue to release the compression in my neck. This isn’t the touchy feely swedish massage, (although I am sure he would do that if that is what you need) but the results are what I am looking for. He has increased my range of motion in my shoulders as well. As soon as he returns from vacation this will be weekly for sure. My well being is worth it.

Groupon holders beware!!! Kevin’s business approach is very unprofessional. Kevin does not answer his phone to make appointments. He asks future clients to make appointments on his website and then asks for a credit card if an appointment is missed. I bought a groupon for $ 35 for a message, not realizing that Kevin is the only message therapist available, and very difficult to reach. I was unable to make my appointment and was charged an additional $ 40 for missing the appointment. I was willing to forfeit the $ 35, but it is ridiculous to charge an additional $ 40 on the same day. I would recommend calling groupon and asking for a credit for your groupon.

I love Kevin’s functional approach to massage therapy. There’s a time and place for aroma-​therapeutic relaxation, but when I get a massage, I’m mostly looking to seek-​and-​destroy the tension in my perpetually knotted back, which Kevin does so well. While the key to good massages is to be vocal with your needs, I also like when the masseuse can suggest new things to do that I don’t know about, or can point out trouble-​areas I’m not aware of [yet].
I’ve had many, many massages (at all different price levels) but I think Kevin’s definitely one of the most competent/​knowledgeable masseuses I’ve encountered. Plus it’s great to support a fellow student (ask about student discounts)!

Kevin is a life saver! I highly recommend his services to anyone that has any type of pain due to spasms or inflammation. I had an ACDF (Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion) last August but unfortunately the surgery only resolved the numbness/​tingling in my arms and not my neck&shoulders pain. I see Kevin once a week and he is able loosen the spasms and inflammation in the area. My pain has decreased significantly and his services have improved my quality of life. Thank you Kevin, I don’t know what I will do when I move away.
